I'm finally dieting and trying to get my act together. I just want to go to school, not work, the finally work when I go to school. These past 3 years really fucked me up emotionally and I'm just now picking up the pieces.

I'm not one to talk, but I have faith in myself. 31 is not a death sentence, your life is not over. Go to school, figure it out from there. Why don't you just try making some online friends in a video game you play? I feel like with stuff like discord makes that even easier than ever. There are so many niche communities out there now, for basically any game or piece of media you can think of. At the very least you could strike up some conversation with someone. Also this is just me, but I wouldn't kill yourself, at the very least there is a ton of stuff out there you haven't consumed, and I just mean like movies and video games and shit.
