main net was a meme. /biz/ has built chainlink into something it's not. It doesn't have secret partnerships that will be revealed, the price singularity will never happen, assblaster was a whale who did a pnd, there wasn't stealth development, there's no reason to think Chainlink has a leg up on any of the other dozen companies trying to do centralized or decentralized oracles, SWIFT is probably working with smartcontract but not chainlink, etc.

It's a mediocre coin. Steve is not Vitalik. The two man team is literally getting crushed by teams 10 times their size, and Sergey is a poor manager who has 100 million dollars but hasn't even managed to hire one more person full time after three months (he says he's hired one go coder but it's a secret). This is absolutely inexcusable. Chainlink was a good buy before sergey squandered the opportunity. Right now it's beginning to look like this is a flop. It only pumps with other alts and never on it's own merits. If you made money buying low good on you but don't pretend that that wasn't what was happening to every alt.

There's so much fud that's never been responded too but any criticism is considered fud. This coin has turned cult like and I feel bad for anyone who fell for the link marine bullshit. Get out now seriously. Nothing you think is real is real. There is no singapore, we.trade was a scam, etc.

>> No.5516910

The overwhelming majority of new crypto projects out there fall into 3 main categories:
A pure currency with a twist, be it anonymity, speed, no transactions fees, no transactions at all etc.
A smart contract platform with a minor adjustment in trade offs - offering less security for more performance, more security for less performance, less security for less performance etc.
A quasi unintentional scam; the sort of idea that sounds pretty good at the pub after you've all downed 6 or 7 drinks, then instead of waking up and realizing it's stupid, proceed to put together a fancy website and kick an ICO based off of it. (I honestly think maybe 90%+ of cryptos belong in this group)
Now the trillion dollar question is this: is just having a currency or shoving a Turing Complete programming language into the blockchain to allow for smart contracts truly the best use of this decentralized innovation? Ohad Asor, creator and lead developer of Tau, does not think so. TLDR; Buy agoras

The strangest blow job I ever experienced was when I went to visit Shaq and friends in the locker room when he was still playing for LA. They held me down while Kobe held my mouth open and Shaq rammed his elephant trunk man hammer into my mouth. I immediately started gagging and throwing up but the meat missle was so big it held the barf back and it went into my stomach instead. Then they took me into the shower and proceeded to turn me into the team pin cushion, it was like I was a tapestry in a sewing maching I got skewered for hours and I loved it. They finished off my visit with Shaq punching me in the throat and taking a huge dump on my forehead and making me lick his balls while he decorated my skull. It was great. The tokens will be a few cents each. Sergey knew this so he kept so many tokens for himself, so he didn't see his company and network turn into a massive success but only get to walk away like a pittance like all the /biz/ linklets will.

Exactly what I thought lel.
He's talking about a "small conversion rate", meaning a small percentage less than 19k.
You took this to mean "a tiny percentage of 19k", you trenchskull.

He's also talking about the very early days of mainnet implementation, when use of CL will still be limited; those 19k prospective nodes are merely the candidates that have come forward already.
Things will be very different in case of global mainstream acceptance.

What are you talking about?
>even if there is a small conversion rate from this large initial group
This clearly means that there only needs to be a small percentage of the 19k. I don't see how it is possible to interpret it any other way. There is a huge difference between people saying that they want to be a node operator and them actually becoming a node operator.

This is literally what he means. A small percent of 19k will convert to nodes. How dense are you? There is literally no other reasonable interpretation of that. I don't even understand what you are trying to say it means. Is your name rajesh?

A conversion means going from one value to another, like currency.
A currency example of a "small conversion rate" is the conversion rate between EUR and GBP; which is about a 10% difference.
Now for instance subtract 10% from 19k.
That's a relatively "small conversion rate".

Good luck out there.

Do you fucking stinky linkies fucking get it? You're not gonna make it with your fucking erc20 shit token. You need to invest in other opportunities. Seriously just market sell all your chainlinks, ASAP. Sergey is already backpacking throughout Southeast Asia as we fucking speak telling people he's retired. It's over. Sergey's salty surprise is gonna be the exit scam announcement. Datadash was right, SWIFT cancelled the partnership because Sergey's a fucking russian scammer. It's a pity too, the project had so much promise but that's because it was never real in the first place. Steve isn't even a real fucking person. Rory said he's never actually heard Steve's voice in the Slack. The building their website says they're at is a run down hole in the wall indonesian restaurant. The house of cards is falling and Sergey knows people are starting to smell his exit scam. That's why he's vanished from all social media and forms of communication. He's in hiding backpacking asia filling his money belly until this all blows over.

It's fucking ogre guys just fucking sell those heavy ass bags.

but i just dont see it... they are trying to solve a problem that doesnt need to be solved yet

how are they going to get hyperledger support when they dont trust sergery

hyperledger wont trust chainlink.

There is a difference between conversion rates between currencies and conversion rates involving people. The conversion rate he is using is what people use to talk about ads on a website or something similar. If you have 19k people see an ad on a website and 10% click on that ad, it is a 10% conversion rate. I would suggest looking it up.

Good luck out there.

I run one of the largest online fintech founder groups on facebook with several billion dollars in processing volume and a few billion worth of investors both in crypto and institutional funds. We often look for technologies that we think are significant to the ecosystem and make sense from a regulatory standpoint. This is one of them. Sergey & Steve have built a tool that is useful to the developer community.

they will most definiely have support from Hyperlegeder they are currently in the incubating stage in the hyperledger foundation.

it will take time to gain the trust of chainlink but as long as its open source i dont see why chainlink wouldnt becomre trusted like other projects such as sawtooth or iroha
