Because Sergey does not care about the token price and is happy to deliver a product after bankrupting his investors.
He is also a liar with a track record of broken promises thus voiding any positive effect of news.

If he had taken the opportunity to bankrupt Nexo and send a message to the short seller psychopaths the situation would be different now.

Sergey and the whole Chainlink team have fucked you. They've taken your money to build a network for SWIFT so that 11,000 banks will profit off of it. Oh you think you'll be getting paid for CCIP transactions running through SWIFT. Remember the SWIFT Smart Oracle? Yes, that's right SWIFT will be running their own oracle DON's to process CCIP transactions between banks and blockchains. They won't be paying you a single cent. Chainlink Labs on the other hand gets a nice hefty annual fee payment, for upkeep and maintenance. Sergey sold you out.

He just chose not to do it because he thinks the tech will magically solve the price issues and does not want to play politics.

He must be quite naive to think he could do something with an indirect way when facing the team behind the price suppression of silver on steroids.

In your fear and uncertainty it will be tempting to put your trust in some person or group who emerges and claims to have a "way out", which will involve sacrificing some of your liberty. You must resist this urge. These self‑proclaimed saviors may appear in many forms, under any number of banners: "intellectuals", "influential people", "progressive thinkers", "billionaires", "the UN", "the EU", "self‑selected multinational coalition", "global leaders", "world governments", "radicals", "revolutionaries" or some combination of these. They may appear charismatic. They may appear to have your best interests at heart. They may stand united, arm‑in‑arm, proclaiming "We know the way forward", advancing some form of "people's revolution" or "Global Reset" where "you will be in charge", hawking various "‑isms" and promises of a better tomorrow. These people are not your friends. They are not to be trusted. They are the same global banking elites using the same fear tactics, shilling the same magic potions and snake oils as always. They want only one thing: power.

Swift already sold the final version of the feature to banks for May 2024 at the latest.
With FedNow released in July CCIP is very needed and the timing of the CCIP audit is perfectly aligned with it.

Swift also promised to release the results of the experiments later this year.

What we will get is CCIP around July just in time for the experiments with FedNow, but it will be used first in an official manner by DeFi while the experiment is running.

From the past track record the experiment could take between 1 and 5 months at the worst because Swift said it would give the results this year. Some of their previous experiment steps lasted 1 month, but this is a lot bigger so it could take longer.
Maybe 2-3 months giving the results around September or October.
Then there would be a 1-2 month decision time after that and maybe we get a release at the start of December with staking v0.2 which will support extended CCIP features.

The open question is how the release of CCIP for banks will affect staking v1.0's schedule.
It's not needed, for the feature itself, but the moment the feature is really adopted by 11000 banks it would be a good idea to introduce slashing even if it's with staking v0.2.5.
Maybe this will cause a change in the development of staking and accelerate its development or remove some of the measurement and node performance statistics feature for a later version to release staking v1.0 earlier.

reading comprehension 0

The first sentence says May 2024 at the latest.
DeFi will adopt it first which will already be very profitable for Chainlink.
For a few months Swift will run the experiment with the officially released version.
Once that experiment ends the real adoption can start.

The adoption may not be instant for someone with the attention span of a fish in the seconds due to tiktok abuse, but many big institutions will adopt in in the first integration step which will take 1-2 years to integrate every banks.

However even the initial integration by the bigger bank category will cause a x100 scale pump of crypto.

If you had read about Swift's previous ISO20022 integration procedure you would know how the process works.

>> No.55219615

>>55219558
What I do know is that ISO20022 has been postponed 4 times in the past, banks are notoriously slow at adopting new protocols and tech, I also do know that currently the US banking system is under extreme pressure, potentially facing an even bigger crisis than 2008, and that an experimental beta protocol facilitating cross-border transactions between private or public DLTs is not going to change a damn thing about the underlying fundamental flaws this system has
