if you eat a half tablespoon per dose, knock a little bit out so it's lighter each time

try and wait longer between doses. for example during the winter i was eating 3 or 4 times per day and now i do 1 or 2.

the trick is to find a level where you aren't uncomfortable and stick at it. falling asleep earlier helps.

i'm not sure if they still sell this but stem and vein (ie the part of kratom with less mitragynine) helps. also, hirsuta (another member of the same kratom family but with slightly different alkaloids) is great for getting off/cutting down

good luck friend. i talked to an addiction medicine doctor today for my job and mentioned kratom to him, he said that in the last 3 years he's seen a huge rise in problematic/chaotic kratom users whose tolerance and use spirals out of control.

i know how hard it is to quit but my best advice is, if you are troubled by how much you are using, don't go cold turkey! taper or use some substitutes. think of it as a spiritual exercise or opportunity to build willpower. and you don't have to be completely abstinent. even going from 3 doses per day to 2, or from 8g per dose to 5g, can have a positive effect and decrease side effects.
