I'm still alive and now I'm unbanned, remember to *******************************************.
2023 Prospectors artwork was finalized and waiting on the sample for that now. 2023 Crusaders artwork now waiting on the first draft from the mint. Expecting early July fulfillment for that depending on how well we like what they send back to us. Delays are solely my fault.
Still waiting until the Crusader is entirely fulfilled before starting the next coin, but I'm still leaning towards the Pirate Apu. Not sure what both sides should be but there's plenty of time to get the next one figured out.
Will also have the new Cave Explorer mats on the store Monday with the thicker material quality and stitched edge. Will also get any Boomer coins that were part of an order shipped.
If I missed any emails please don't hesitate to contact me again. Apologies as always for the delays, entirely my fault. I don't know why but I've been in an incredible funk the last few months and the threads going to shit has been sad to see.

Hope everyone is having a good weekend

Self check
Here are some coins from my collex plus a handy little chart for coinage I plan on minting. To a small degree of error the relation of silver, and tin, and zinc, nickel, & copper, is about 1:100:100. With these metals, durable coins of a wide variety of value can be minted. My goal is to be able to exchange my currency for a larger quantity of silver just like the Germans did post 1933 with the windmill reichsmarks. They're about .44oz were exchanged for 2 silver certificates then redeemed for the two .77 oz coins. All .90 [my meme floating around says .925 sorey m8 mistakes were written]. It still baffled me how I traded 1 oz each of gold and silver for a bridgeport mill not too long ago. My coind would have a herringbone reeded edge but with a catch, in the center for about 1/3 the circumference, a slot going along the curve will have an inscription of the denominations of the coins. Look up the side of a hong kong $5 coin, I will post a photo of one when I get home.

It may have been made first, it was not announced first. So it's easy to see why this thread is getting more traffic.

Just bow out, be humble, delete the thread. Why do you autistic trannies really care who bakes a thread anyway? To post your image in the OP? As long as we can discuss PMs and stay on topic, and have less split threads, the better. Just post your images here, delete the other thread, and be the better man.

Anyway here is a response to an Anon's question to me from yesterday:
>>55176211
>Did you know Mandarin or Cantonese before moving to China?
I did not
>If you don't speak Chinese, how is living there as an ex-pat?
Honestly, it doesn't matter either way very much. As a white person you will be ostracized and treated differently, no matter your Chinese ability
>Do you recommend moving to China?
It depends. If you're a young something white male looking for beautiful women and a potential tradwife, I highly recommend it. If you're older and already have started a family, probably not.
>What do you do for work?
I work as an English teacher. I came in 2019 with a company called EF which was a decent entry-level job. Low pay but also only part-time work. There are tons of cute and sexy female coworkers in education...it's dating on EZ mode. Currently I work at an international school making $55k a year with 3 months paid vacation (and rent is only $6k for the whole year), but it's a lot of work during the school year. My plan now is to return to the US and do finance, hoping for more job satisfaction and better upward mobility.
>America is so profoundly cucked
Yeah, I haven't been back since pre-COVID and I'm hoping it's not the tranny, BLM, rampant homelessness, hyper-expensive shithole I only see on the news. If it's really awful I may return to China and just suck it up as a teacher.
>and China seems kind of based, especially for stacking PMs.
Fuck yes it is! I've stacked so many pandas here for dirt cheap!

Silver pandas cost about $24.50.
I've bought tons of the pre-2015 pandas at this price. The pre-2015 pandas 1 toz/31.1g, post-2015 pandas are only 30g. The newer 30g pandas aren't any cheaper. Maybe some of the older years weren't popular among Chinese buyers but I don't care, I just want to stack PMs and the premiums are amazingly low here.

I also bought a 2023 (30g) gold panda for $1957 .
I'm looking to buy a 2011 (31.1g/1toz) gold panda for $2028.

To the metal detecting anon who was asking about buying a Garrett 400, here’s what I’ve found out in my research (and using my ace 200).

Pretty much everyone on plebbit and YouTube recommend the simplex over many garretts. Garrett uses old tech and (mine at least) is loud and annoying. They use boomer ass wired headphones with a 1/4” jack. Uses 4 double A batteries. I can’t speak to the comparative detection quality itself but I think they’re comparable or the Simplex is better.

But the simplex has wireless headphone capability, vibration mode, rechargeable batteries, a superior user interface, a pinpoint mode, and firmware updates so presumably they could upgrade its capabilities.

Both are the same degree of waterproof and all that, but the Nokta is cheaper and better in almost every respect that I’ve read about. While I don’t take Reddit and YouTube at face value it’s hard to argue with the consensus: the Garrett is outdated and the Simplex is both objectively better and a better value. Not only would you save money on the purchase but you’d save a lot in battery costs.

Only downside of the simplex is that it’s assembled by roaches but in spite of that it seems to be superior by every metric.

>> No.55181592

Apparently the Minelab Xterra pro is as good or better than the simplex for a similar price, so you’d be better off with either compared to the garrett

Hobbies are fun, but of course there will be “wasted” time if you can call it that. The move is picking good, high traffic spots like beaches (or historical spots). Even peoples backyards if you get permission. People have dropped a lot of change in the last 3-400 years. And way longer in Europe.

An anon here was talking about finding old town dumps and the locations of former saloons, if you just go to some little park you’ll generally find a lot of trash. That’s just part of the process. But being outside exploring is better than vidya, I feel like the first time you actually find something worthwhile the bug never leaves.

Just run the detector without headphones and listen to podcasts in one ear while you’re out. And go places relatively unchanged for awhile, if it’s been continuously used you might find some silver coinage

I love pure .999 anything but can't have it because if I put something in a capsule, I tend to get mad that I can't touch it with my own skin without getting some kind of fury of human oil eventually making the .999 "not perfect" so it forces me to look into junk silver/gold that's mixed with copper and silver. But then if I buy imperfect gold/silver I judge myself thinking it's not the perfect/unblemished delicious and pure gold/silver but I can't touch it and if I can't touch it then what good is this collection of mine that I can't touch? I love the feel of old metal in my hands with a little grime on it like some damn pirate. I like flicking silver coins and seeing if it's heads or tails. I will never be able to own the pure shit, but damn there is some kind of pleasure with knowing the older stuff is somewhat rare/nobody will judge you with handling it. I feel like this is how the mindset of pirates worked.

The 5-kilo coins aren't really that big (16.5 cm diameter, 2.9 cm width), it's just the capsule + packaging that takes up lots of space (24x24x7 cm, so almost as much as a monster box of the same 1 oz coins).
But it's not the biggest coin, there's this 10-kilo. No idea about the dimensions for this one.

About a year ago, I decided to dump all my savings into metals. Took me about 6 months. Those 5-kilo coins were pretty good deals (came out to between 23-24 euros/oz). In general the armenian coins are pretty cheap. I bought some more tubes a few months ago. Now I wait for the next cheapies.

Are you a newer stacker? I was like that at first but eventually stopped giving a shit. They aren't going to lose any real value. Heavily worn cull coins do but thats because they physically lost some of their silver and that isn't going to happen without coins being used in circulation.
Or if its autism and you just can't touch them, buy an extra whenever you buy a tube. So if a tube is 20, buy 21. Then you'll have a pristine tube, plus one to play around with.

It's kinda heavy (160.77 ozt). The 1-kilo coins are much more comfortable for handling, or even display unless you have a heavy-duty stand.
I mostly just bought them because the price was very good, better than 1 oz coins at the time (late summer, before that nice dip in the fall). I didn't know the boxes would take up that much room though, so I had to stop buying those big things. Would probably have been better off to buy only one and the rest in 1-kilo bars, but whatever it's done and price was good.
I don't think liquidity is a problem because the shop will always take them back at spot price (worst case scenario), but I might be able to get more from private sale, seeing how these are very low mintage coins.
In reality, I'll probably never sell them, and gift them to my nephews when they get older (or other family members). I also bought lots of boring 1 oz coins to sell, if necessary.

Lots of boomers call in constantly about them being pissed that all the junk silver they buy is shipped separately. They are so pissed they can't get free shipping or that it's all being mailed separately. I get these calls constantly and it's quite exhausting, but at least it gives me on the finger of the pulse of PMs. I can only imagine when boomers begin dropping off like flies that either most of their hoard will be dumped back into the market from their liberal grandchildren who didn't take their old papper's words of wisdom kek.

And they boomer responded "I am an old fuck and I spend all my money from my pension on gold and silver. If my grandson doesn't turn out to be a prick like his dad, I will give all of my 4000 ounces of silver to him. Hope he uses it right before this country goes into deeper shit than it already is." Then proceeded to tell me how Biden is a communist pedo and how angry he is that his neighbors ask for specific pronouns. It hurts me I can't give my two cents, but I do hint that I agree with these kinda calls.

>Why the fuck is junk silver premium so high?
We have reached the end of cheap U.S. 90% Silver coinage.
We are witnessing the end of an age. not even exaggerating or trying to be melodramatic.
when i was young, it was common everyday to find silver in your change, occasionally you'd even get a Canadian Silver coin in change, as back then it was also common to get Canadian coins mixed in with US coins when you got change at the store or whatever.
back then, US Silver was generally worth 10 times face value. im talking late 70s, early 80s in the U.S..

over the last two decades I've watched Junk Silver became less and less common and less and less available. yes you can still get some US Junk in "bulk" quantities but the builk discount i also almost completely gone.
over the last two decades prices also have
slowly climbed to where we are today, US Junk is now typically 20 to 25 times face values, more for anything better than "avg circ" condition.

If you want junk silver . you better concentrate on getting it when and while you can at whatever best opportunity and price you can find.
I have a very strong feeling that US Junk silver will never come back to anything like it ever was while we saw it in the past.
it couldn't last forever. its been 60 years since it stopped being minted at 90% silver as common circulating US coinage.
that's a long time we had to stack. with everything the way it is today. of course US junk silver is a natural choice for some to tack, hoard, and keep.
sure the price may go down some if everything else drops too, like spot price, other commodities, etc. but we will never see 10xface again. and with the inflation of the dollar,,.. well. its not hard to see where this is all going

ATB/State silver quarters fag. In my opinion if you want to collect a series, get the ATB sets first. They had way lower mintages, have much better designs, and are already appreciating in price much more. The most expensive silver state quarter set is 1999 and is about $70. Meanwhile, the most expensive ATB sets are 2012 and 2020 and cost $150 each. Also, the lowest Minted Silver State Quarter Set still has higher mintages than the most popular ATB set, at least according to the Red Book. They're much rarer.

Also, silver proof quarters don't cost much more than worn 90% but a big consideration is mass. Those lens and boxes really fill out space quick. I can have $500 of 90% and fit it in a couple of little plastic tubes. $500 worth of silver proof sets is over a foot long when stacked the most space-saving way possible. It's not so much when you just have a few of them but I've got 25+ proof sets, they filled up most of a large sterilite bucket I have hidden. Not worth breaking them out of the boxes and lenses either, collectors want the full set with COA, Box and lens included which will absolutely rape any resale value. Don't buy proof sets to speculate/stack, buy them because you think they're neat.

Why are premiums on silver so high these days compared to gold?

Here in Australia, to buy a 1 ounce silver coin premium is 25% of the spot ($9 on $36/oz) Meanwhile for gold it's only 3%: $94 out of $2958.

Are they specifically trying to discourage silver purchases and redirect people to gold?

>> No.55186748

I think it's just the disconnect between Silver's Comex-manipulated spot price and the actual consumer demand of Silver.

Makes sense. I want to get silver coins but I feel such a compulsion to stick to gold just because of this. when you buy a whopping 25 silver coins you only get a ten cent discount per ounce. big whoop

The lower premium is really nice, even the most expensive gold I bought (A 1/4 ozt Gold Maple at the time that was literally the only fractional gold the shop had left) had lower premiums than some of the cheapest silver I bought (A one kilo direct-ordered Valcambi bar)

Good question, I just bought the sets as they were originally packaged. If you're a friendly face at a coin shop they might be willing to cut you a deal just to get product moving. They take up a lot of space and don't sell super often, but since coin shops are about the only place you can sell them to they often get loaded with a bunch. Because of that a lot of dealers hate them, a couple of times for the common dates that don't have any crazy grey-sheet value they just sold them to me for the price of 90% + the face value of any clad coins inside.

I'm a big fan of 2009. Not only do you get SIX quarters, the most out of any set, but the commemorative pennies are the original 95% Copper 2.5% Tin 2.5% Zinc Pre-1982 mixture. I'd say it's a good one to start with. 2012 probably has the nicest coins overall but it's also the most expensive, only buy it if you're genuinely dedicated to collecting all of them.
