This is why employers want to see. Employees who work and advance, whether it be assistant manager or team lead. They want to see some kind of timeline beyond 1 year, the more the better.

Also, remember some jobs just are not worth your time. Especially ones that have sloppy managers who are doing wrongful acts. Lying, stealing, hiding mistakes. These ones you want to either report immediately or leave because there will be no higher position for you. Pure unethical behavior and it's usually an insecure white or mexican / indian who are likely to behave like this.

You don't read the job descriptions probably and just spam your shitty resumes and cover letters all over the place thinking "gee certainly one of these places have to interview anyone who submits their documents to the portal". Try this: read the actual description, then make sure you have the skills advertised for then write about those specifically in your application.
