They still allow us to read and listen to what they all believe and think, so when they tell us to "maintain humanity under 500,000,000 in perpetual balance with nature," I listen and prepare for a time when I may have to prove my spot on the boat or wherever the 500 million people are going. Power works much like biological succession. You slash and burn a forest and you get the primary colonizers taking root here and there. They modify the environment in their own way and eventually give way to higher level succession, ending up with the domination of larger plants that block out the sun and use their phytochemical warfare to suppress smaller upstarts.

You can take it in the sense that humans have innate desires to control and dominate their environment. These desires are kept in check by the fact that it's difficult to do so. If you give a person absolute, godlike powers, the checks dissolve and the person is free to engage in limitless domination and control. They also can't oversee what effects their powerful actions, actions that affect millions of people will really have on a granular level, and their psychological defense mechanisms will lead him to dismiss and demonize those who complain that his actions are causing them to suffer.
It's basically just the same sort of thing as taking people who evolved to crave sugar in sugar poor environments and putting them in the world's largest chocolate factory.
You evolve for a particular range of environments, when you're put in a drastically different environment, some of your physiological or physiological mechanisms can become pathological.

>> No.55074589

> Technological innovation ensures one or few will one day control all
I don't agree, though you MAY be right in the end. It's really a war between mechanisms that make centralized power more formidable vs decentralized power.
For example, the printing press decentralized knowledge (a conduit of power) and lead to the enlightenment among other things.
Or cannons destroyed the centralized power of stone fortifications. Or crossbows decentralized power by drastically reducing the barrier of entry to killing a knit (vs longbows, which took a lot more training). Then guns completely flipped the board (which is why they're SO obsessed with taking guns away).
Another example is the death of the battleship vs planes. Little entities of decentralized power overcame the big, 50,000 tones of centralized power.
Technology can swing this balance one way or the other. If you want to be free, you have to help develop technology that enables the decentralization of power.

>> No.55074643

>>55074496
I dunno really. I think the key lies in the primacy of local power/sovereignty, where local communities can effectively reject anything that the state or federal government wants to push on them. Not sure how that would work in practice though.
>>55074533
Yea I know that centers of non-governmental power infect governments to force regulations to their advantage. That's obviously a huge reason why things are so shit right now.

How would you prevent the growth of centralized power in an environment where centralized power has an inherent advantage?

>> No.55074646

>>55074519
Great explanation. Now to propose a counter argument: existence is not static. Sugar has killed and will continue to kill all those who can't adapt to the new meta. It's just the way it is. Perhaps one day humans will evolve to be capable of wielding power. A lot of creatures will perish in the process, but that's just the way the system operates.

>> No.55074692

What changes is technology. This time around, the powers of surveillance, data processing and weaponry and other mechanisms of control are many orders of magnitude beyond anything that even the tyrants of the last century had.

>How would you prevent the growth of centralized power in an environment where centralized power has an inherent advantage?
Not that anon but it is typically the introduction of regulation and taxes allow power to be centralized in the first place. I don't believe a business, nor a specific product or service could actually be so good and also impossible to replicate that it would stand a chance to maintain a large market share without state intervention.

True. I was surprised to read that small businesses generate 44% of U.S. economic activity (GDP). 33.2 million small businesses exist across the US, and only 2% of those small businesses have between 20 and 499 employees. So if you don't think about this big-picture stuff, you could do just fine in this country. I know a lot of small-town dwellers who don't have a clue about that image or even what 4chan is, but they're way more successful than me.

They do get bamboozled by psyops, though. This image shows us who creates and pushes these psyops that hurt, kill, or displace innocent people.

Anthony Fauci, a technocrat, ruled the US for a few years and it was hell. That's why I'd rather be ruled by a benevolent technocrat like Elon or Linus. Guys who are experts in tech instead of medicine.

Examples of insidious cooperation:
"McDonald's is partnering with the White House to promote coronavirus vaccine information on its coffee cups" - US News & World Report

This triggers copycat marketing campaigns by private companies: "Krispy Kreme will offer every American who has received at least one vaccination shot TWO free doughnuts any time every day Aug. 30 through Sept. 5." - CNBC

Interesting question...

It's biosafety-related. That lab may have specific practices, safety equipment, and specially designed buildings to ensure that workers, the community, and the environment are protected from accidental exposure or unintentional release of infectious agents, toxins, and other biological hazards.

"Airborne transmissible diseases like COVID-19 are typically categorized as Biosafety Level 3 (BSL-3). BSL-3 laboratories are almost always purpose-constructed containment laboratories, outfitted with specialized equipment and HVAC systems designed to ensure no airborne particles can exit the contained space." - Consolidated Sterilizer Systems

The CDC must've placed COVID-19 next to Anthrax on the biosafety clearance level. Even if it's not as bad as anthrax, the workers in the lab don't make the calls. They have to put the suits on in order to enter the lab and do their job.

Technocrats and old money, to whom you'd be referring, don't mix well. Old money is interested in keeping things as they are or were, which is the opposite of what technocrats want. The only technocrats that I know who were also old money would be David Rockefeller and Evelyn de Rothschild, who both attended Bilderberg Group meetings. The rest of the technocrats are relatively new money in comparison. For example, Elon Musk, Bill Clinton, Al Gore and Anthony Fauci got rich later in life. They were born upper-middle-class at best. Musk's dad got rich in the 1980s when Elon was a teen.

Adding on:
I don't count Beatrix of the Netherlands who's on the chart because most royals just go to be seen. A technocracy goes against everything royals stand for.
