FIRST, my assumptions: LINK's usage will grow, it will continue to be the primary oracle in the blockchain eco system and each time it is used a minor fee will be paid in LINK

Now for the analysis.
there are 1 billion LINK tokens (currently priced well under an oz of silver). Like silver LINK can be "recycled" perhaps silver is a bit more difficult to recycle LINK but regardless it can be.
However we pull 1 billion oz out of the ground per year, there are only 1 billion LINK ever, also eventually you will get an APY on LINK (which silver can't do)
so simply put I will continue buying LINK (and a short list of other cryptos) till I feel they are in a bull run.
Then I will switch back to metals.
If metals have a bull run first, I will do remarkably well considering my physical stack and my miner portfolio in retirement accounts.

I would not recommend this approach for those who don't have what they feel to be a suicide stack in metals
but if you are there switch over to crypto for the time being till this board is filled with moon boys again (by that point you will hit a double and can sell for more metal)

I'm aware of what the honest purpose of a derivative is that I even consider it essential to contracted trade. The issue is using those derivatives when metals like silver are not even out of the ground or in the customer's possession. Even worse is putting derivatives on the market when there's no plan to sell them, just a swap between two corrupt entities rigging the market. The drain is about putting a stop to that so silver will get its real price discovery. I honestly do not give a flying fuck about what you say. This is the goal of draining the Comex and it's going to be glorious watching the crooks lose their ability to scam the system.

Comex has a decent portion of investment grade silver in private hands. They don't really have much compared to all silver (investment, numismatic, recycle, national reserves, industrial, jewelry, silverware, etc)

the big ones being national reserves and industrial/recycle. We are running short on silver, but it's a looong game. There's a lot more silver in existence than there is in comex vaults. And most of it's tied up in places that can leak into investment markets if the price is high enough.
