I've been burned on this as well last year when AMZN and META both dumped 10-20% AH on bad earnings. I was long so many OTM SPY puts that were so red for multiple days. SPY dumped afterhours right after the 415pm option market close time for SPY. I did the math on it, I was printing finally.
