Trezor, but I’m also liking the cutting edge features of Keystone but that company is based in HK. I need to hear more options because I’m looking too

I'm stuck between a trezor or jade.
Jade is Bitcoin only though

Trezor T. I would be happy with my Trezor 1 but I remember why I got a Ledger now--it doesn't support what I want. Also you can buy Trezors with crypto.

This is computer security 101. Physical access is total access. Take this as a principle. Shit like secure(obfuscated) chips can at best delay the inevitable. Sure in practice it can be pretty tough to crack, but in principle there is no guarantees.

The job of the hardware wallet is so that if the phone/computer gets busted, the keys to the wallet remain safe. Nothing more can be guaranteed in principle, even if people use it for more.

Every hardware wallet has the same problem in that you must trust the vendor not to use malicious firmware to steal your keys.

This whole thing has made me think I should set up an air gapped device running an OSS wallet instead of using any hardware wallet.
