Is it too risky for my pension portfolio to be 100% in an S&P500 index fund?

Depends on when you want to retire. If it's within the next 5 years then yes.

How old are you? If you still have 15+ years to go you’ll probably be fine

Personally I would go 75/25 US/international index funds.

VT is vanguard total world
Or mix VTI/VOO with VXUS

No. Not ever. That is the safest play available unless you want to go the Vanguard All world ETF route.

If you are the most risk-aversive person in the world I'd say put 25% in the s&p500, 25% high yield saving account, 25% in PM(Gold/Silver/Copper) and 25% into the food/guns/agricultural land/water investment criteria. You will allways win.

>Is it risky to put all my money into the biggest broad market index fund that gives an 8%-12% return year over year for the past 30 years with the exception of like 3?

It’s like the least risky investment you can make. Just don’t expect a very high return because of it.

Go duck yourself. You're gonna reccomend some kind of meme/crypto play where 0,01% gains alot and the rest loses big time. This anon just wants OP to make it. Go back to your Linkies/BTC/Monero thread where you can all circle jerk each other.
