I got to buy silver at around $13 an ounce two years ago.

There was a "local small business Covid-relief" program going on in my county where you could load up funds on their app and they'd match what you paid up to $200 to use at businesses that had applied, my local coin shop being one of them. You put $200 into the app and then get $400. They allowed you to $200 MORE if a "friend" gifted it to you (I gave $200 to the coin shop owner and he gifted it to my account). I bought $800 worth of silver that day for $400.

It didn't last long. People were abusing it. I was talking about it with him and he said that there was somebody who came in and kept gifting amounts using different emails and bought thousands of dollars on metals in one day. The people running the program noticed that they were using exceedingly more of the donation funds than any other business and kicked them off.

This 1 Yuan is sold as "to identify" with $1 starting bid on ebay, which i find very odd since it takes literally 30sec to identify it, and the seller in question have far less valuable coins perfectly identified also from China even though they are harder to identify (and their starting bid is way higher).

I believe this difference between the baseline interest rate, and the baseline bond yield of the shortest maturity bond, gives a measure of the stability of the Treasury market, and by extension the global financial system. Think of it like a seismograph.

We see a brief spike in March 2020, right at the onset of Covid where the world shit its collective pants and the stock market dive bombed. The FED dropped rates in a vertical line and stability returned very quickly.

End of March 2022 the FED ceases its bond buying, this is the end of the money printer go brrrr period. The oscillations in Delta picked up almost immediately and their magnitude exceeds that of the 2020-03 perturbation, while steadily increasing.
Now look at the rate of change in Delta. We've swung 220 basis points in three weeks down to all time low of -0.73%. Compare this to 2008, the volatility today is comparable or greater than right after the Lehman bankruptcy.

If this is a seismograph of the treasury market then this shows the tectonic plates are starting to shake bigly. That behavior is exponentially divergent, we could blow through the 2008 peak swings within weeks.
