If you have been in crypto for a significant amount of time, you would have noticed that there is a very high correlation between various tokens/coins.
When you look at the Chainlink chart, it more or less mirrors that of the general crypto markets, some fall less than others, some pump more than others, but the direction is almost always the same.

You do TA on LINK/USD, but why? most of what you are looking at is total crypto marketcapitalization over time. Why not just do straight up TA on that chart, or if you suspect that this drop will be specific to chainlink, why not do TA on ETH/LINK or BTC/LINK, as you would cancel out some of the noise of the fluctuations in the total crypto market capitalization and get a sort of normalized chart of Chainlink.

This is what underperformance (Link is Orange, total mkt cap blue) looks like, it does however track the overall movement of the changes in total market capitalization.
The direction of chainlink is the direction of the overall total market cap, it doesn't make sense to predict the movement of chainlink based on LINK/USD - if the market drop so does Link (most likely more than the rest of the market) if the market surge so does link (most likely less than the rest of the market), but there is nothing to suggest a divergence in direction because of something technical e.g. Cyrpto market surge and Chainlink drops. If this happens, then it will be the product of news, not support and resistance levels, or TA patterns on Link/USD.
