This coin currently has a big announcement tomorrow and another in January. There's also a small pump and dump group that has been building since pre-McAfee, he kind of fucked shit up so they had to suppress price to stick by original targets. Expect them to re-acquire the tokens they had to use to suppress the price, and expect a dump right after the news releases (there's always one) before they work on bringing it back up. The price will then slowly get pushed upward until February of next year when they finally pull their investment and move onto something else.

im totally new as well. there are probably better paths but i bought some bitcoin on coinbase and transferred it to poloniex. there are fees associated with each move. im playing with a small amount of money so the fees werent a big hold up for me, but there may be cheaper methods. btw i did all this today.
