Look for alts that are actual projects and not just memes. Take Pollen Token (PLN), for instance. It's under 50k market cap. They’re an actual team (doxxed). They have a working DeFi platform that gamifies the investing/staking process. They're backed by a lot of big names in the vc space. Site is fire - pollen.id and the project is just starting with marketing.

Yeah these are the types of tokens I was hoping to come across. /biz/ did really well to meme some of the best performers last cycle so I’m wondering if it might just be best to wait until the board is flooded with memes and general threads that showcase actual projects. So far I haven’t noticed any of these smaller cap tokens being mentioned alongside superior marketing
