Interestingly, given youtubes rather stringent criteria to monetise your content, there are blatant scam ecommerce sites getting top ad platform space even though just the prices they jam in your face right away should encourage someone to check more; e.g. $3 for a 15 piece knife block set, $4 for an air fryer, $4 for a stand mixer. All needs to be bought within the next 7 minutes + countdown timer

I actually did the background digger for YouTube on the umbrella company, which known to run multiple versions of the sites, and reported it.

Now some other one has just appeared with a very similar spectrum of prices and products called Tuma or Tyma or something
>live like a billionaire

Of course sites can find out if you are using a blocker - but good ad-blockers block these detection scripts as well. So if they change something there, they have to adjust. Means basically sometimes a detection gets through.

It does if you manually activate the option to get ads in exchange for BAT. But people who hate Brave are just Firefox trannies upset that Brendan Eich didn't just roll into a ball and die after they got him cancelled from Mozilla.
You can always tell its a Firefox tranny FUDding Brave because they use the same technically incorrect lies that give them some sort of excuse when caught.
