with a block happening about every 10 minutes on average, it'll only take 1.35 days to clear if nothing new is added

Can we talk about how Bitcoin is a piece of shit and doesn’t deserve its market cap yet? Or still too early for that?

Tell me about it, BTC is trash, the queue went up to 198 blocks in the meantime

the ponzi is collapsing. with every difficulty increase and reward halving the network gets more unstable. electricity costs for miners will put them in the red once the market cap falls too low.

bitcoin has always been the future
and a high fee market further cements it as having no peers in the altcoin space

nobody wants to bet on a technology (altcoin) when technology disrupts fast and frequently.

Bitcoin is a failure as a currency, a failure as an inflation hedge, literally just a gambling token.

the opposite
there isn't a single altcoin that provides any competition to bitcoin as money, they all compete on the short-term trends of tech, utility, adoption, etc
no alt has even made any steps into being considered hard, neutral money, because it's impossible while bitcoin still exists. you can't print a new hard money into existence, it has to grow from zero.

I know shit but if mining prices always end by being unsustainable, it looks like people will be forced to.

Mining never becomes unsustainable, it's regulated by an algorithm. Why even comment if you don't know shit?

Every thread about BTC I see these days is like a cry for help. Dump all that and swap it to a coin with real utility before it goes bust.

People have been saying this since the beginning. If you don't hold a whole coin yet then you're too late and you might as well accept you'll never make it.

it's being used for a sizable percentage of drug transactions, but that's it.
black money flows on bitcoin and ethereum are each much larger than the total volume xmr has on all exchanges. unless you presume a very unrealistic average tx value on monero they're each larger than all xmr transactions too.
