I am so autistic that at 31 years old I live with my parents, and am so attached to my routine that any deviation from said routine, even something as minor as going into town to meet my father for dinner, can almost throw me into hysterics. I am only able to pass in social situations by drinking enough booze to relax a bit, but that typically leaves me unable to drive myself home so I avoid most social situations.
