I buy caffeine pills, engrave them with the adderall numbers, and then I dip them in a mixture of yellow and orange food coloring to resemble real orange adderall pills, I have made thousands of dollars doing this and apparently nobody notices most likely because a mixture of caffeine's stimulant affects, the placebo effect, and ignorance of real adderall. This isn't illegal, right? I mean let's say the cops pull me over and they find the "adderall" and then they test it, they will clearly see that it's legally obtainable caffeine pills dyed orange. What can they do about it? Is selling a legal substance under the guise of an illegal substance illegal?

My doctor just gives me Adderall if I want.

Being intentionally misleading during a sale is fraud and therefore illegal. It's usually hard to prove, but here it should be pretty obvious

Okay, but nobody is going to go the police and say "I tried buying adderall from this guy and he gave me caffeine pills."

I mean, you're probably doing 20 illegal things but it seems like it would be pretty hard to pin anything on you.

they absolutely can and won't face any consequences if they do. That's how many drug dealers lacing shit with fentanyl get caught

Those people are selling actual illegal drugs though, the police are willing to give immunity to people who come forward in those instances to remove the dealers, who are a bigger problem than the addicts, from the streets. You think they'll waste their time on caffeine pills?

In my opinion you’re pretty safe lol.
They’ll probably laugh off the stupidity of the people buying those pills.
