The best method is to quit. In my old chef job I drank two pots if coffee and a quart on top of it. All black. After I had covid tachycardia plagued me and I still can't drink caffeine. But I did learn the wonders of decaf which offer the same benefits.

Get a french press, get smoked arubica coffee beans. Grind them up

Add one tsp of cinnamon,
Add one tsp of peppermint,
Add one tsp of manuka honey or honeycomb,
Add an orange peel, whole
Add two tablespoons of heavy whipping cream, pasture raised organic,

Now add in your coffee and press. Stir in lemongrass whole and stir with milk thistle powder. Add decaffeinated dark 100% chocolate powder and mix with just one tsp of brown sugar.

Prepare to have your tastebuds go on a journey my friend

An aeropress is a bulletproof way to make coffee. It's like 30ish bucks and the filters come in a pack of 200. You don't need any special equipment but if you invest in whole beans and a burr grinder, the sky is your limit. French presses have too many moving parts and break too often, not to mention the sludge they leave in your cup.

GET AN AEROPRESS YES I'M A SHILL FOR IT YES I DO IT FOR FREE.

All these retards are wrong. Here is the best way to make coffee either by single pour.

Purchase Good Grinder 1: For all coffees. Get a good conical burr grinder. Here is the one I have and have honestly ran through entire rainforests worth of beans without a single day of maintenance. Mahlkonig or Italian ones are solid. This one passes the WAF. Its expensive but its a multigenerational grinder that will pay for itself a thousand times over if you no longer get your shit burnt Starbucks coffee everyday.
https://baratza.com/grinder/vario/

Purchase Dripper Step 2: Buy a Hario single pour coffee https://www.hario-usa.com/collections/drippers/products/v60-plastic-dripper-03

>Set your burr grinder to a somewhat-fine grind and select the number of cups you want to make. I have a big mug, so I set mine to three cups, or 24 oz.
>Fill up your electric kettle with that amount of water (24 oz. in my case).
>Place a filter in your Hario or Chemex, then run some hot tap water over it. This wets the filter and gets rid of that raw paper taste you don’t want in your coffee (my palate is sophisticated enough to pick that up). Dump that nasty water out.
>Pour the ground beans in the filter.
>Once the kettle is boiling, take it off the heat for a few seconds. The optimal temperature for brewing is 205° F, or just off the boil. A big reason your auto-drip coffee tastes crappy is because it often only heats the water to 160° or so. This creates bitterness, both in your mug and your mood.
>Pour a little bit of hot water over the coffee, just enough to soak the grounds without dripping through. Then wait 60 seconds. This steeps the coffee a bit and releases the CO2 created during the roasting process.
Slowly pour in the rest of the water. Again, the idea is to soak the grounds instead of letting the water race through. This will draw out all those flavors that make coffee so great.
>Drink the best cup of coffee you’ve ever made.

Get a good hand grinder like 1zpresso Jmax / jx pro. You can use it with all types of coffee brewing methods, including espresso if you buy a machine later on. A top tier hand grinder is cheaper and as good as $500+ electric grinders. Plus you will make forearm and grip strength gainz every morning

After that, the main thing is to buy quality fresh beans and grind immediately before you make the coffee

Well I worked in Saudi Arabia for 6-7 months and the peeps I worked with never did any of the shit you describe. The beans usually came from Ethiopia and the coffee was first rate. The coffee treee is indiginous to Ethiopia and not Jamaica. Jamaica is a 3rd world shit hole (worked there too) and I can't trust your opinion after what you wrote. I am sorry you hate Arabs so much. Weigh your coffee and water. Pour over, with good technique, is probably the best "good" cup of coffee you can do on the cheap.
I got an espresso machine for practically nothing that I had to fix up. Lucked out on it but now I spend more money on coffee than ever before and I'm 100% exclusively making it at home. If you want the best cup of coffee you've ever tasted, learn to roast beans, get super consistent grinds, and invest in a good food scale with a timer on it. Takes a bit of experimentation but you'll never go back, even with a start up cost of close to 2k.

I switched too to decaf. 6 months after getting into a 9-5 onsite job with unlimited free coffee machine, driving peak hours back home I realized how taxing it is on the systems. 2 weeks decaf only and it feels weird. I'm unengaged by my work and my productivity plummeted.

Either way, I still brew decaf on a hario V60/paper filter combo. No formulas, just put coffee and water through the filter. I'm happy with the flavour and texture.

Hoboanon with today's financial advice:

The coffee of champions is simple; Instant coffee. I prefer nestles tasters choice (mainly because the glass container is great for storing peanuts or oatmeal)
You take maybe a spoonful and add powdered coffee mate. I personally don't use much coffee mate but if you're a Fats you can add 1/4th of the container. It's your drink bro

Imagine you're innawoods with a girl and she's thirsty. Put on your lumière voice and whip out your stanley pot and butane container with the portable burner attached. purify from any nearby watersource using your sawyer gravity bag, 3 minutes later her pussy will be wetter than your throat from drinking pure coffee that Jesus Christ would approve of

Now you know, and knowing is half the battle
