I've got $86k remaining on my student loans. Should I cash out my crypto gains and pay it off ASAP? Or continue my current method of paying $4k per month until late 2019?

It would be awesome to be debt free but I don't want to miss out on future gains.

idk retard maybe try and see if the interest on your student loans will cost you more than what you will earn from crypto or not

The new tax bill will not allow you to deduct student loan interest anymore.

I would pay off a majority of it, maybe leave 10k in crypto.

Also, since you'll have capital gains and state tax, you're probably only looking at a 60% payout of your gains. Plan accordingly

No loss there. My AGI is too high to get the deduction.
But fuck I didn't even think about taxes.

Well at least you can actually get a job afterwards. Still I would never pay anything close to that money for uni.
t. Have an MA that I got for free and now paying some $500 per semester which is less than my pension at I enjoy student benefits

Not even for a guaranteed 6 figures job? It's not unusual for doctors and dentists here to leave school with $300k debt.

You're right, they must have changed that since the last time I looked at the bill.

Good move by the GOP.
