This is a lot to me as I make like $25k a year (I live in Poland). Should I put some of it into BTC? I already have about $9k in crypto but no BTC. I'm starting to think altcoins are a scam after many years in crypto. I also want to start DCAing $500 into BTC each month.

I don't really need the money. I have enough for a mortgage deposit. I'm a bit wary about putting more money into crypto as I'm underwater (I used to be up A LOT at the top of the last bullrun...). But I recognise it's probably a fallacy coming from having been burned out. I believe maintaining a second portfolio in BTC on a cold wallet would be a preferred alternative to keeping it in cash.
