Fidelity is based I just closed my bank account because they were being extremely unkosher and now exclusively use Fidelity

2.44% is dogshit lol. A fed money market pays 4.7-4.8% right now. I don't get why retards think their sub 4% HYSA or some bullshit is great. If you use bank accounts or CDs right now you are retarded and just paying to subsidize shitty banks that got rekt by rising rates.

Me too. Fidelity is awesome. Don't pay any ATM fees, you get a human on the phone in like 2-3 minutes tops when you need something. I had to cancel a recurring DCA BTC buy into FTX (i got everything out don't laugh) and FTX was still doing it after I said stop. Fidelity covered me the cash and actually took the money back from FTX somehow. They even apologized to me for my dumbassery.

Now that could be because I have 2M in boomer investments with them, but I can't say anything wrong with them. Their FZROX zero total market etf is great and performs just as good as VOO.

iirc Fidelity spreads your money across many bank accounts on their behalf for money management accounts but I could be wrong I think the staying power is that it's like SoFi where it's trying to be an "all-in-one" app where no it's not the "best" rates but makes up for it in convenience.

The way to use a fidelity CMA is to setup a brokerage account alongside it. You can set the brokerage account to be the overdraft protection account (overdrafts transfers are free) and set the core to be SPAXX. So paycheck/credits go into brokerage account, earning 4.5% at all times and debits go out of the CMA account.

This is a horrible rate. You can get savings accounts with ~4.8% APY at the moment. Mine is 4.77% APY.

whatever you do don't threaten to hunt down the person that calls you at 9pm on a Sunday from an unlisted number. That's just customer service and then you'll get a nice letter from some Security Ops bitch from Utah telling you that you're banned from entering a Fidelity branch or opening an account (but they'll still keep your account open just tell you to move your money to a new custodian). Don't do that.

FCASH pays the exact same amount. SPAXX is a Money Market Fund Government Class that pays about 4.6% before fees.

If you wanted SPAXX you probably need a trading account.

Other fidelity money market funds auto liquidate so you can have it in SPRXX or FZDXX (slightly higher rates) as well. You have to manually buy into those though.

Its just an fdic deposit sweep, lol. Every brokerage has this. But if you're not getting 4.7-4.8% on your cash you're a fucking retard. Just sit it in a federal money market or buy tbills. I cannot understand why idiots continue to use "high yield" savings accounts that pay dog shit rates like <4%.

I have a fidelity cash management to get cash back rewards from the fidelity credit card. I haven't actually set this up, I'm just looking at it now. but its interesting me know. It seems like you can set it up where your brokerage account auto tops off your cash management account. So you could have money in your brokerage invested into whatever you want, then pay bills from your cash management account, and when it runs out of money it auto sell shits. That's actually pretty cool if you can set that all up automatically.

Yes, they basically beg you to setup the option so it's nearly impossible to miss the option. There's also some minor bonus to open one so google it for the promo link

It does let you auto transfer to keep a minimum balance, but there's really no reason to. My CMA is always at a $0 balance, and then takes from the brokerage the amount it needs. This is what it looks like (the debits are credit card payments)

First, you can take all of that money earning 2.44% and put it in SPAXX. You can do this within your CMA, you don't even need a Fidelity brokerage. When you need to use the cash it will auto-liquidate from that fund and it'll earn you something like 4.5% instead.

If I were you I'd also order your CMA debit card, because they reimburse ATM fees. And while you're at it, the Fidelity credit card is a nice catch-all cash back card that will save you 2% on every purchase and deposit the savings right back into your CMA.

I also have an HSA with them, which has great tax advantages--but you may not be eligible for that.

You can automate a lot of finance stuff with Fidelity, and with some basic python skills you can pretty much automate everything. To the point that when I spend money on my every day credit cards it automatically transfers the money as I buy things into payment accounts. When the bill comes it automatically draws from the account that gets transferred into and I touch nothing.

Something called sweep accounts, akin to niggers sharing a picture ofna pile of cash to claim their wealth. Exchanges are terrible but fidelity is least terrible. Always be sure to be pulling out cash from stonks unless youre growing your investment engine.
