I live in Miami but I don't live near the beach or anything like that.
The beach/downtown area is for tourists and rich dorks

why do people find that so strange.
One is off the kitchen or living room for guests.
I've seen 10 beds 22 baths before.

Bedrooms sometimes have their own bathroom and it's better to have a public bathroom so guests don't have to walk through your bedroom.

Florida will be a rich techbro 3rd world citadel with bitcoin rich earlyfags and deranged bank/finance guys like that guy from citadel capital GME posters hate, and whatever crooks from government that flee to florida when their states fall. Rest of america will be a monero PvP zone. Us late adopters of crypto are better off just becoming monero hackermen of the wastes making our own PvP parties to survive.

Happening in Tampa too. My parents bought a modest home on Davis Islands in the late 90s for under 200k and it's currently valued well north of a million.

Picrel is a very similar example. Luckily I'll be inheriting it in the future.

Even if you lived at the furthest point away from the coast, isn't that only like 8 miles away? Seems close enough

Tampa scares me. Anything that grows that fast is terrifying, but they have the infrastructure for it. Ian didn't wash enough of the transplants out.

Naples, FL is almost worse.
The houses there are just as expensive, but there's not nearly as much to do there.
Plus Miami has a ton of good looking women, everyone in Naples is old.

Its just looks like a far our suburb of Tampa. I get the houses are nice. But is that it.

It's a teardown. The location is great too as it's right across the bridge from downtown
Also, property taxes in FL are relatively low. It's the flood insurance that's REALLY going to get you

Naples is like a warm Aspen. Every wealthy person from up north winters in Naples. Basically an ultra wealthy winter hermitage. It is a pretty beautiful area for what it's worth, but I would never live there.

>>54743213
Depends on your budget, be prepared to spend at least a million and a half if you're planning that move. Some areas I'd suggest:
>coconut grove
>coral gables
>pinecrest
If you're looking at South Florida in general:
>boca raton
>aventura
>west palm
Avoid laudy too
