I really dont know why this board is so obsessed with CS for muh "big bucks". If you have good parents, take your time learn multiple things in different disciplines and use your parents connections to get you where you want to go.

Success will follow.

Age 29
My parents networth is probably 0 they own nothing
My grandparents is another story, my grandpa alone owns more than 2000 acres of land and a lot of cows. They are at least a few million in assets.

My parenta, uncles and aunties are probably just waiting for my granpa to die so they can sell everything. Fucking bastards

I only own a small 1/4 land and have 20K USD in my bank plus some crypto. I have a crappy job under 30K a year

Age: 30
Parents Net worth: broke
My parents started their own internet marketing business almost 30 years ago, back when no one knew what it really was.
They had nothing when they started, but sold just before the dotcom bubble and basically don't have to work again.
They just travel and teach part-time at the local university.

Your advice about using your parents in order to take your time, learn new things, and use their connections only works in a situation like yours where money is not really an issue and they actually have connections.

My parents are divorced and have no connections. My mother is broke and gets by because of divorce money she’s been coasting on and her father is still alive (maybe not for much longer) and takes care of her basically.

My father is a degenerate fool and though he has a home and some money saved it will go to his new family and even it did go back to me in some fashion I have so many siblings I’d receive nothing.

There are no connections to leverage and I need to earn money now so as not to be homeless. Uni is dramatically too expensive to go back to college or I would definitely go back to college.

I’m 30.

What’s your job if you don’t mind my asking? 30k a year USD is very very hard to live off of.
