The SEC represents the US government, and the US government wants crypto dead.

Not true. They want their own digital currency (CBDC), one they can monitor to see how it's being spent.

Why would these dumbasses WANT regulatory clarity? The only thing keeping Gensler and co. from fucking and jewing over the common folk more than they already do is their own incompetence.

Ripple Labs is right, Coinbase needs to shut the fuck up and quit flexing. They think they're sticking it to the SEC when in reality they are making crypto worse for everyone in the U.S.

Kind of hard to develop new projects when you know Gary Gensler could bust your door down at any moment and sue you into oblivion and possibly throw you in jail.
Also exchanges don't want it to happen to them either. If they're securities then fine but they literally file lawsuits against companies who simply inquire. They are deliberately trying to kill Crypto in the US. Fighting the SEC pedophiles is good.
Damn satanists.

Best defense is a good offense often in situations like this. This ultimately punts it into the limelight so they can't hide behind the veil of wells notices and general Tom foolery.

Whether or not this is a good idea though is something else
