I went full historical with presidents, wars, bicentennial dates, things with cultural importance rather than the World Cup or Olympics which I agree are somewhat soulless. However, I’ve got probably three of them as the prices were like 22-26$ per for .77 oz of silver. You’re getting slightly less silver but paying 2/3rds as much so it balances out somewhat in your favor.

A pro-tip I’ve found is to really be conservative when looking at auctions. You can find yourself in a bidding war with some boomer wanting to complete a collection or you can be the only bid and get a good deal. Good listings come and go so be prepared for weeks to go by before scooping 3-5 coins being sold off by the same guy for a low price.
