Can someone refute this? Honestly.

>Currently Chainlink has a monopoly on oracles
>Oracles are required by the majority of serious blockchain projects today
>There are 25+ BUILD projects and counting, likely by the time staking is unlocked and rewards delivered there will be well over 100
>They each are giving ~3-5% of their token supply to stakers and node operators
>Let's assume stakers get half of that so 2.5% best case
>There are 22,500,000 Chainlink tokens staked
>If a BUILD project reaches a paltry market cap of $200,000,000 (which I will remind you lots of actual scams sit at in this very moment), 200*.025/22.5 = 11 cents per token staked
>7k LINK staked gets you an additional $1540, or 2.75% yield
>Let's say the average mcap reaches just $50MM, which is actual like BNB dog coin tier, for $335 per - very conservative since these are legit projects
>Across 100 projects
> 100 x $335
> $33,500, or 60% additional yield

This is extremely conservative. If even one of those projects goes big and gets to like a $2B market cap then you just made $15k off one of them, and I think a more accurate average of value will be like $150MM per so 180% yield and 7k staked getting out about $100k USD value.

What's wrong with this evaluation?

Also, why did the immense army of fudders just suddenly disappear? Anyone else notice that?

Thank you for listing reasons why you are expecting to profit from the efforts of others with this cryptocurrency. Chainlink is an unregistered security.

So do we just hold the build shitcoins until they moon and then sell or what is the play?

They haven't even confirmed that Link stakers will receive BUILD airdrops.
They've got so much work to do and so many projects that haven't been released that you might as well forget about link for a few years because that's how long it'll take to release even one of the bevy of things they've announced

easy, currently not a single BUILD reward has been airdropped and nobody knows if and when they will begin
you can add them to the list of unfinished vaporware such as Town Crier, DECO, FSS, Mixicles, SLS and so on

youre thinking about it wrong. they're not *giving* the tokens to stakers, they're reserving them for subsidizing their project's need to pay oracles. CL's team gives them extra help and support getting set up in return for assurances that they'll be participating in the profitability of the network. this leads to increased returns for stakers as it leads to increased usage of the network in general.

my take on it, at least

They’ve already stated the first batch of BUILD tokens will be distributed to stakers once staking v0.1 wraps up and people can unstake. We can debate when that will be but it isn’t really a part of this conversation.

they've also announced the imminent release of CCIP this year (2022), I think you should be focusing on reality instead of pie in the sky hypotheticals at some unspecified point in the future.
judging by their abysmal track record, there's no reason to believe anything they're announcing at this point, but you do you.

why early stakers would get 100% of BUILD fees instead of distributing them over longer periods of time for stakers? if its 5 year lease for services they could also distribute the tokens over 5 years to stakers.

Let’s talk about BUILD projects. It’s obvious most of them will be good bets right?
Which ones are you looking forward to?
It looks like SpaceandTimeDB is very popular and apparently has connections to Microsoft and other big corps.
I’m interested in ChainML which seeks to combine AI and smart contracts.
Anyone know if they’re good?

Look anon the truth is that, we already made it. Some of us simply stopped running the numbers over and over because since staking went live, it has been clear that we have been chosen.

Everything is lining up perfectly.
>the BUILD rewards
>the economics 2.0
>the COORDINATED BTC dumps which cannot be hidden anymore
>the ramped up FUD
>the start of a new golden bullrun

Those of us who endured this rite of passage will be the makers of a new and brighter future. Be certain of that.

I'm planning to hold all of them for 12 months so that I get a 50% capital gains discount. Is this a bad idea, or will most of them still be alive by then?

>> No.54660178

>In addition to the rewards described above, stakers in v0.1 will also be eligible to accrue additional incentives, dependent on per-project qualifications, which will be made available through the Chainlink BUILD program in a future version of staking. The Chainlink BUILD Program aims to accelerate the growth of early-stage and established projects within the Chainlink ecosystem by providing enhanced access to Chainlink services and technical support in exchange for commitments of fees and other incentives to Chainlink service providers such as stakers.
>Projects that have confirmed their participation in the Chainlink BUILD program include Krypton, Interest Protocol, Mycelium, Cask Protocol, Truflation, Dolomite, Space and Time, Galaxis, bitsCrunch, and ChainML, with more expected in the future. These projects have committed a portion of their total token supply to Chainlink BUILD, commonly between 3% to 5%. Portions are planned to be made available over time to Community Stakers, Node Operator Stakers, and other key community participants that help secure the oracle services that BUILD participants rely upon, which may expand in scope to other feeds and services in future versions. Portions of BUILD rewards may be, in part, determined by reputation metrics such as stake amount, length of time staked, and other key metrics.
imagine the impact when the first build rewards arrive. some of the most active ct accounts are airdrop hunters and yet none of them are talking about this. people will go through ridiculous hoops for the chance to get one airdrop, here we're just sitting here, waiting on 30 with at least one or two them likely to get a really good return
