No, all Americans are goyim. American law isn't global but most retail money comes from burgers because they are the only country where people aren't poor so many big players recognise the music is about to stop for their shell games. This is long term good for crypto just like how Chinas crackdown was because it sets a precedence of America being bad for crypto leading to people seeking greener pastures. This will lead to other countries trying to attract the people the Americans are exiling.
>it's not that bad if they are.
For real projects no, for VC derisking schemes it is unironically over. Even if the current projects get off with a slap on the wrist there will be no "next XRP" because the legal grey area VCs were taking advantage of is no longer a grey area. I look forward to the people who said "decentralisation doesn't matter" and "lol you can't fight banks just buy the projects they are partnered with" getting rekt. Again.

they didn't share liquidity.
american and interenation assets were not comingled.
yes, they used the same order book, but that's fine, because the americans were buying commodities that are legal in america, it does not matter that they're possibly buying the commodities from international sellers, the commodity is legal in the US.
the statement you're quoting is a bullshit 'gotcha' by the SEC, saying well, because they shared an order book, that just shows evidence they're operating as one company instead of 2, which is like, duh, it's the same parent company, they serve different customers.
the main core argument about all the charges are simply, did bittrex know it was selling coins that could be clarified as a financial security? and the SEC is saying they can prove that, since they're charging them, we'll see if that actually happens though.
reality is though, Bittrex did nothing wrong.

>Isn't insurance a scam? The house always wins.
Of course the house wins, but that is not the point of insurance. Overly simplistic view. Do you prefer to have insurance on your house or not? Are you going to let yourself be at risk of losing everything because the insurance company is overall making a profit? It doesn't matter if they on average earn more than they pay out. Most people will never experience a house fire so they will not lose everything. They technically lost money, but that's not a big deal. If your house does burn down and you don't have insurance you lost everything. Insurance isn't even that expensive, houses burning down is extremely rare. Insurance companies are basically playing a gambling dice on 1.001x and making a profit every throw even if they sometimes never make profit from one person. I have never insured a computer or phone or anything small ever and I never will, but when you have valuables worth a lot you should worry more about making sure you don't own nothing tomorrow than whether statistically on average a company makes money.

I did not receive a rebuttal after schooling you on why owning isn't a scam (taxes aside it technically more like renting property from the government) and that renting isn't superior just because kevin so I accept your concession that insurance is also useful. No need to thank me and yes I'm being an obnoxious ass right now.

I just hate spending money on things that are not worth it, thinking about it now I also don't like the idea of something which has value being in one location, like gold in a save or a pc in my home. I'd rather have my pc somewhere in the cloud and be able to access it instantly from any screen via ultra low latency. Like how I can access cryptocurrency from anywhere. You then could go any live anywhere at the drop of a hat, pretty cute.

A decade ago my house got robbed and they stole my xbox but left the hard drive. I was at the vet today and the guy working there was surprised by my email because it was firstname@whatever.fuck which I usually use for things that are auto-doxed like house repair or dentist or whatever. "wooow, that's not common". Protonmail glows hard and they've done a lot of really dumb shit so I kind of hate them, but I believe email is pretty insecure anyways so I'm still using protonmail because I haven't found a provider I want to switch to yet and proton is pretty decent user experience, but when I do I can just export then "delete" (lol) everything and change the domain name records. Of course if your domain provider fucks you over you're screwed. I would self host but I can't guarantee 99.9% uptime and it's a hassle and I'm pretty sure you'd leak information all over the place with packets in and out when sending and receiving.

Almost every privacy phone ever made so far has been a government honeypot to catch criminals, just want to point that out. Encrochat and the phone it came with is the most well known one.
Realistically you should probably avoid anything based on android and pick a linux compatible phone, but the hardware is probably backdoored too. At that point I feel like having a smart phone loses most its value since you cant really use banking apps and similar. I accepted that my phone is simply just going to be infested either android or ios so I took one that was comfortable in my hand. I don't believe in having a high amount of privacy on a phone, they're just too infested with spyware. Maybe this will change in the future.

Graphene might be nice though, I haven't tried it. It's generally better to try than not so yeah why not pick a privacy fork of android.

You are the schizo here. I said benchod insults because that is a nice way to refer to insults towards indians or generic third world shills. I'm referring to people saying things like jee t and street shitter. Jee t isn't really that bad though compared to others.
>Censorship, including self-censoring is bad.
I disagree. I self-censor myself to not let other people get me down as much and to make sure I don't accidentally yell out a slur because other people post it a lot.
The more people write [nice black person] the more I accidentally use it in my thoughts and it's not a good feeling. Imagine accidentally blurting out the word irl, I'd be a social pariah. I also feel like some words can put more meaning to sentences than intended. Someone may casually refer to someone as an nword because they're edgy and thinks it's totally fine for casual use and that there's no malice in it, but my brain may see it as a sentence filled with hate.

But when I am in Tel Aviv and I am in their offices, and I meet these Israelis, and I'm in their meeting rooms, you know, like how many partners they have contributing to StartNet, like how many different...so, in the StartNet Foundation, I'm on the Developer Committee, so I see every other company that we make a partnership with and outline the milestones for them, for which things that they are supposed to work on. And we're talking about indexers, we're talking about market makers, we're talking about APIs, we're talking about oracles, we're talking about things like Alchemy, Infura, just the how, you know, extremely ambitious they have been in combining an ecosystem of services together, thinking about the whole flow. And, you know, it also goes to events and finding, you know, talent. Like doing things like hackathons, like they are extremely ambitious people.

They are, like, in my opinion, one of the strongest forces to be reckoned with if I think about any layer and how much work they are doing to make sure that this platform has a reason to become successful. I mean, I guess what hasn't really happened yet is that because of the Cairo thing, they haven't had natural adoption. And there haven't been, like, airdrop farmers running around. There haven't really been a lot of applications because of the Cairo thing, so I think it's something that is going to explode as soon as they get Cairo I.e out. So I am way more bullish. I am way more bullish on this thing than I ever expected. Like, I went there expecting to be like, you know, I'm expecting this to wither out and not become anything, but I'll be there and I'll be helpful to try to make sure that they make better decisions, but it hasn't been like that at all. Now they changed my mind. They made me bullish on the entire thing.

>Somehow I don't think having top of bill as your baseline quality is a good thing.
But price needs to be factored in to purchases. Plenty of nice things are free, for example I spent zero dollars on my folders filled with cute pictures and they bring me more joy than many things I paid money for but that does not mean everything that brings me less joy than my cute pictures is a waste of money. It is healthy for poorfags to understand they don't need nice things to be happy but past a certain point they are just coping like the fox with his grapes.
>You won't be able to appreciate other good (enthusiast thing) quite as much, your senses become kind of numb.
Back when I first bought a nice desktop I found my laptop very slow by comparison but still found uses for it.

But instant coffee is the opposite of enthusiast grade coffee. Your tastes are becoming more refined and you are nostalgic for when you didn't know any better. I drink instant coffee because I don't care enough about coffee to spend the extra time making nicer coffee. As a connoisseur you should be making the extra effort to maximise your enjoyment. You are on a business and finance board, you clearly desire more money to buy nice things.

The laptop becomes suitable for a different purpose, but you cannot use it as daily driver anymore.

At least I'm aware.

>As a connoisseur you should be making the extra effort to maximise your enjoyment. You are on a business and finance board, you clearly desire more money to buy nice things.
While I do desire more money, I don't really desire nice(r) things.
I like to apply the 80/20 rule, the last 20% to enhance my coffee experience will cost me an arm and a leg, so I'm fine with a mediocre coffee machine and mediocre beans, since they are still vastly superior over other ways of preparing coffee, and even now I can still enjoy the occasional Starbucks™ Frappuccino® Blended Beverages in various tasty flavours for example.

I want to stock up on 2013-2022 as well as a weeb doomsday prepping. I also need to stock up on as many roms as possible, and maybe some other non-anime shows for variation.

It's gonna be free anyways. Doesn't count if you traded shitcoins to buy it. I could probably make do with somewhere around 12TB and still have a fair bit of buffer, but I don't want to regret going too small like I do with the old trusty 2TB HDD so something like 6 or 8 is out of the question. I will reconsider going for 12TB because it's $100-200 cheaper.

I also need at least a gazillion TB to store lots and lots of infinite-bit infinite entropy encrypted crypto keys and blockchains.

Why does Kevin think Coinbase will shift to the institutional market? Why would institutional investors use Coinbase instead of developing in house solutions?

You have to resist cumming from a handjob so she'll think she has to suck it. Then you'll always get blowjobs instead of handjobs

There are exchanges that nobody knows where they are really located. I don't think shady people will stop existing. The future of money is people withdrawing CBDC to exchange for BTC and moving 10 chains to RugEx to leverage with 1000x on a shitcoin with $3 real liquidity and 10 billion dollar washtrading.

What advantage does bCore offer over CBDCs?

CBDC's can program in a block that makes it impossible to transfer to an off-shore exchange, but if you already have the BTC they cannot.

>"Well, but at least we can rely on the good decisions of the Core developers, who keep making Bitcoin evolve, right?". Have you read them lately? The worst one might be the "I had my bitcoin seed on an online server, they stole my bitcoins, but I did nothing wrong", but there are a few more out there saying incoherent wild things.
I still suspect he hacked himself for fraud purposes, but maybe I am wrong. It just does not make sense.
>We need to guard our own bitcoin and make payments MUCH MORE private than they are now, and we need it for yesterday.
He's a disguised Monero shill. This is an attack on Bitcoin. We cannot have privacy, that would be detrimental to the state's ability to track everything you do.

He posts scizo Christian doomsday stuff so he might just be retarded. He seems like the kind of person who pays taxes too based on what I read. He painted a target on his back and
>He's a disguised Monero shill.
I disagree, I think plenty of bCore shills like him would end up in the Ztrash camp if they could step away from their cultist brainwashing. Pic related aligns far more with maxipads who support institutional investors legitimising their investments instead of wanting BTC to be used as a currency.

I was joking about the monero shill part. I figured the rest of the post would be enough to hammer that in.

You said people would withdraw CBDC to buy BTC. What if you don't already have the BTC?
>He painted a target on his back and
is still living in the same house with glowies watching him like they watch all the core devs who live in America if he isn't an asset of their so if he suddenly started having unaccounted for money he would get audited and caught.
