The only problem is that these numbers have no meaning in the real world. They do not exist. There are no deposits that cover all these trillions. The blockchain systems does not distinguish between real value and make believe value. I find this notion incredibly interesting no different than a pajeet scammer creating some scam to prop up the value of his next scam.

If the numbers have meaning because the existing system says it has meaning and they get ported along to blockchains which inflate in value because of some just trust us institutional promise the bankers may just use blockchains to validate all the fractional scams they have been doing to date and early adopters of blockchains get to share in that because you know number go up everyone is happy.
