i was there. didn't protest but took a lot of pictures and talked to many of the people camping out. michael moore was there too surrounded by a flock of weirdos.
aside from the small park turned into a hobo camp there were multiple large demonstrations on time square. it was actually pretty impressive .
what was even more interesting was that it was not just lefty students but also a good amount of regular people all unified by financial grievances, e.g. lost house to bank, student loans, anti-taxes, general /biz/ schizos ranting about debt and ursury. eventually the firms surrounding the park had enough of the constant bongo drumming and paid the city to raid it and the whole park was cleared in hours.
ultimately nothing was achieved but it showed that wallstreet is more important than the people and democracy is a crock of shit. the whole thing redpilled me hard (plus living among all the niggers, faggots and jews in new york).
