The BoC and Canadians are really dumb when it comes to housing.
To them all prices are relative.
Average looking house in a regular neighborhood sold for 15 times the median wage?
To them it's valid because the house next door sold for 14 times 2 months ago.
At no point will debt servicing ability be discussed. If you can't pay the mortgage? No problem, sell up and collect your profit, after all housing always goes up.
Nobody can think here.

Those of us who saw through the haze of un-reality here will be buying on sale when the time comes. Canadians are good people who are good to each-other; Canada is beautiful and is blessed with resources; this place will do very well and I think our renaissance will begin right here. We need a change of management across the board, which is becoming increasingly inevitable. The rulers both public and private are no longer fit to rule -- they have badly mis-delegated our resources and productive energy for years now, and the markets themselves will not let this continue for much longer. There's too much real wealth at stake for this retarded and fake carnival to continue for much longer.

I don't think any of that is part of the decision making process for people here, anon. What you take for malice is just an expression of our demographic structure. The boomers just act in self interest, as all market participants do.

In terms of the big picture though, the real creative energy of any society is held by the young. Currencies and financial instruments are just methods of storing energy; its all an accounting system with which we keep track of who controls what creative energy in our society. The young have all of the real energy, but the old hold all of the Canadian currency and its derivatives (paper real-estate wealth, paper pensions, etc, etc). At some point this becomes a problem with the currency and its derivatives -- it becomes less and less real as it moves farther and farther away from the real producers of value. As it becomes re-tethered to reality, productive energy (wealth) will naturally be transferred to the producers of the most valuable energy (the young).

I guess what I'm saying is that the Canadian economy of debased money and un-payable debts is fake, but the productive energy of the people here is real. You can't measure the real by the fake, so the way we measure these things will have to change (as it already is). The problems are with the accounting system our economy represents, and not with the economic participants themselves

The biggest misjudgement is the Fed can hold higher for longer than Canada. Mutts are on 30 year fixed, Canucks are on variable or 5 year fixed. More and more are remortgaging every day. Payments are going up by 1.5 to 2.5k per month. Those families are stopping all discretionary spending which will hit the economy. That has all gone into reverse.

Not sure where morality comes in. We should stop thinking in terms of "X group act bad, X group act good" if we ever want to make sense of these things. It's all just a network of individuals acting in self interest; it's all just cause and effect. Morality doesn't need to distract us as we look at this network and make our speculations in its markets. Morality applies to one's personal world first.

>>54602330
We absolutely have a real problem -- we have a problem of management across the board in both the public and private sectors. Those who delegate resources in our corporations and governments are no longer motivated, capable or dexterous enough to maintain the increasingly complex systems we depend on as a society. The solutions to this problem already exist, and the question is simply one of implementation.

We hear so much in the news about AI's disruptive potential with regards to the creative fields. But has it occurred to anyone else here that things like banking and government services are the most easily automated of all? Think about the resources and energy that will be saved as we move towards a state of greater efficiency in these things. The sheer scope of the cost savings involved make this inevitable in the long run. And we forget that Toronto is quietly one of the epicentres of global AI development. Do you think it's a coincidence that this development is taking place in the heart of the wealthy country with the most shamefully mis-managed infrastructure and services? The market participants developing this stuff see that there's a product market fit here.

Canada always been little more than a market. It has mercifully little cultural baggage from the age of nation states, upon which the sun is now setting. Our institutions have no historical knowledge of violence, and we treat each other well in this place. Like I said, all we need is a change of management. The renaissance starts right here

They have no acceptable policy or legal levers left to pull. Trudeau and Freeland don't control the economy. Having comically jumped the shark 2020-2022, neither does the BoC.

Our government has become so large and so inconceivably complicated that it exists mostly for its own sake; it's an abstraction. It hardly DOES anything, and yet it consumes half our productive energy via taxation and it employs about 30% of our productive population. All they had to do was pay hinton and bengio and form a government AI taskforce but nope, instead they basically forced them to sell out and stop actually working on AI proper and on making research-hostile decisions like what happened to MIL or hinton's whole shtick, or how they formed all kinds of grants for AI startups but only gave the money to startups who went to the US and never came back, ,because they evaluated candidates based on 'stardom potential' as they always do (it's the only way canadian government knows how to evaluate anything) and everything in the US is considered fancier (if you look closely, you will also find that virtually all our "leaders", be it in government or banking or at the head of big tech companies, are US-educated from ivy league schools).
Now AI has gone to silicon valley, as has all other tech, and it's never coming back.

Look at the big picture. There is incredible wealth in this country. We have a population of educated people who are kind to eachother. We have abundant resources and a geography that separates us completely from the conniving and bickering of the old world. Our institutions have no historical knowledge of violence. Our national identity and culture are mercifully malleable, which positions us well for social change. Our gifts are physical and real, while our problems are issues of resource delegation that will be solved by market participants properly incentivized to do so.

They shamefully turned good people against one another using social and political mechanisms that we had never seen used here before. Who does it benefit if I spend my days thinking about trannies teaching schools etc? Why would I waste my energy on things that I cannot change? What would the point be? Part of being a productive person is knowing where to direct one's emotional energy.

My attitude as an educated person is this: the social absurdities here are so unstable that they will collapse under their own weight. The final cause of all of this BS is 15 years of fake money. The meaninglessness of our currencies has made our world meaningless. Look at how this process accelerated following 2008. Consider the cultural shifts that accompanied artificially low interest rates. The meaninglessness of a culture is directly proportional to the meaninglessness of its unit of account. When billions of people exchange the meaningful (their time/their energy) for the meaningless (fiat currencies), the real world itself ceases to mean anything. We see this all around us.

So why would I give a shit what clownworld does? Clownworld is a circus that is rapidly running out of money and social energy with which to support itself. Clearly we're on the precipice of major socio-economic changes -- there are much more interesting questions and issues to ponder than which washrooms our school boards are telling kids to use etc etc

For UK: Demographically no, economically yes. I don't know enough about the others, but UK is doubtful simply because of the intersection of population density, infrastructure decay, economic decline, and increasingly incapable governance. The UK government simply isn't competent enough to go full dystopia, there's not enough space to cram in another thirty (or even ten) million wogs no-matter how much it's wanted, the ponzi scheme of people selling coffees and tattoos to one another is already exhausted, there are no natural resources beyond coal, and the NHS, et al will soon simply cease to function. So it will fall apart in the next decade or so before demographic transition, a chunk of the pajeets will leave, and the rest will live a life of internecine violence with the white-irish underclass finally freed from the teat of the welfare state and the shackles of the surveillance state. Will be messy.

This channel is called Racist Cops. Hes a drill instructor, and he has (without mentioning it) official army approval to record on base, during training sessions. This is the most obvious giveaway that the army controls his channel and uses it to do things - such as defend the 4 star transsexual general they serve when people in foreign countries call their niggers out in a mall for being in Poland to spread faggotry and racemixing. The Poland video discourages recruitment, so instead of ignoring it, they definitely cant address it at a state level like the Pentagon or something counters random Polish guy so they have these shill propaganda army channels try to mock the guy for supposedly not being Polish first language. Yea, I bet he left the US and went to Poland to get away from niggers and trannies, so the US sends its niggers and trannies to Poland.

Comfortable people dont support higher purposes, the only solution for Canada is ironically the same thing the cancer is doing to it. The national rail shutdown was the best thing that ever happened in the last 50 years.

Canada was heaven on earth and probably the best country in the world prior to Pierre Trudeau. He introduced the multiculturalism act and shoehorned globohomo into our legal code. It was a land of gorgeous, beautiful landscape, with a bustling energy sector that provided prosperity, world class universities that were affordable, and nutrient rich farmlands (which have now been terraformed into cancer causing seed oils and soi production). Canada is what a country is to a shitcoin that went from 1000x to 0.

Boomers got to enjoy a European hyperborean/Atlantean free and prosperous nation, and have sold out their own offspring for a cheap buck, to an aggressive level the likes of which not seen in any other decadent western nation. I also hate Canada, not just from the perspective of how much of a hellscape it is, but from the fact that this place was once a paradise being the salt that's rubbed on the wound.

Absolutely, desire to consolidate power was the reason behind all of the actions they took (unless one is stupid enough to believe that The State really cares THAT much for granny's health). You seem to think that this consolidation took place according to some big coherent masterplan -- I see it as a whole bunch of competing vested interests grabbing as much as they can from eachother before the music stops. Meanwhile governments and banks by their very nature produce no value -- they are mere delegators of resources. Their wealth is a mere derivative of our labour. We hold the real creative energy and thus the real wealth, and you will watch as the economy rearranges itself to reflect this actual fact.

Not sure which civilized countries are banning usury these days.

>A painful reality coming to a neighborhood near you
My favourite dose of reality was when the OPP told the Ford government to fuck off when he was asking them to enforce some garbage at one point during the pandemic. My second favourite dose of reality was how absolutely civilized both protestors and law enforcement were during the feb 2022 protests. It showed me that the ONLY barbarians in this society are those who occupy the halls of power.

In the same way that Canadian liberals import their "muh cops beat up minorities" bullshit from the US, I've noticed that Candian conservatives import "muh cops are all just zogbots" bullshit from the US. Why don't we all just cool it? We have a more civilized society than the US, and it's reflected in the character of both the citizenry and the law enforcement here. Real life is neither twitter nor /pol/.

Re identity. Fine, I mentioned it a few times where you indicate. But that's not what I'm talking about here, and we both know it.

Anon, I hate the government and our leadership with all the hate I have. And I hate them passively, as I am powerless before them just as you say.
But if all you have is hate, you become a slave to the object of your hatred; it becomes central in your life. Why would you want this?

Any hatred I feel for an abstract concept like government is is easily eclipsed by the love I have for real people in my life. You say that hate is a motivator but the only thing that has ever motivated me is love. When you feel real love you realize in the blink of an eye what matters and what doesn't. It seems to me that our gifts are real and tangible while our problems are market failures. Our economy and markets are fake at the moment, so the relationship these problems bear to reality over the long term is tenuous. At this point you're baiting, are a paid shill, or are outright delusional. I also don't know why you're lying about the cop relationship with the trucker convoy. How can I take someone who pays so little attention to what really matters in the world seriously? Most people are NPCs. They always will be. Or maybe it's a result of modern technology, who knows. The problem is leadership. If your theory is that AI will upend the whole system, you'll have to explain how something that was massively funded by the powers that be, was always a part of the plan, would be released to the public with the same capabilities as the powers be have in private. Not to mention there's already massively popular support for "AI alignment" basically shooting any dev that's AI says the truth about the holocaust. And then how this is relevant to Canada. I thought your initial points about rethering energy to young value creators was interesting and hopefully possible (it's a Paul Town point), but you have yet to account for some of these glaring issues in your thesis.

If we grant AI is real and threatening it will make the elites more powerful than ever. With AI, there are no truckers to protest the vax mandates. Everything runs and the masses can't meaningfully protest. I don't know which industries are most likely to be automated across the board, but there's been a crazy push for self-driving cars for a long time. How much power can the average person wield in this future? How much can a hyper competent person wield? Will the private sector ever been able to compete with military? AI has probably been used for the last 7 years as realistic online bots if we're being honest.

What is real is that there's a split between the old and the young, and whites and nonwhites (headed by Jews).

So we're going to have the old fucks pass off their magic powers to minorities, gays and the jewish elite and the seldom remaining non-degenerate White men will have to fight back. Will there even be a collapse from this dysgenic policy if AI is successful as you think it will be? Won't that be our biggest nightmare.

I think one source of our confusion, if you're being genuine and because you're a smart guy, is that we are ruled by an extremely hostile elite. Yes it is true that they are beholden to many economic positive feedback loops, and this is probably a large part for all the terrible ever-increasing negative decision we make. Then again, that's just democracy. But an equal part to that as well is that these are jews, and they have wanted to murder us for milleniae. They are taught as children that everyone hates for no reason and they will get holocausted any second now, which means their neurotic aggression is always justified. These are the people who are currently running the show in the West. Does having them hold the reins to AI sound like it's going to be a positive development?

I'm actually willing to hear your points on this. I loved ChatGPT, I think the tech itself is very positive, and I actually sort of agree with you how tech has emergent escape velocities. Can't stop it. I just think AI has control baked into the cake. Social media was amazing, then the Arab Spring and Trump happened and now people are total NPCs and censorship everywhere. There is still tension don't get me wrong and I am optimistic about it, but even in so-called free speech sanctuaries, there's massive military psyops on the daily.

Also, will your race be able to survive in time until this tech becomes truly free? Especially with the massive power differential in the mean time

Tl;dr Eugenic + old-gen tech vs dysgenic + astral realm tech. Who's going to win? And what does Canada have anything to do with this lmao

Want to know the word I'm really looking for? Profitable. This is a very profitable country for those who harvest its productive energy from all the way at the top of our society. It is the very fact that our population is the golden goose that the thesis here >>54606488 is not valid. Because forgetting politics and forgetting conspiracies and just looking at the money, we see that the financiers sitting all the way at the top of the foodchain need the money (energy) to keep coming into their monopolies from the population. That can't continue if our services keep degrading. That can't continue if you can no longer afford to buy the latest product. That can't continue if you're no longer able to feed yourself. The dynasties that rule this country cannot and will not let this place deteriorate. Poorer societies have lower value consumers, and that last part is all they care about. All the largest players here need the system to become more efficient; they absolutely cannot have a social/economic collapse. They have a population who, for better or for worse, demonstrated a high level of adaptiveness to social change in 2020-22. They know that one solution involves removing massive inefficiencies via the AI automation of swaths of administrative and bureaucratic roles across our society. The question is one of implementation, and it's a social question more than a technical question. Because they have to facilitate this transition in an orderly way. Some resources unlocked by removing these inefficiencies would have to be delegated back to newly unemployed people in our society. They would use AI to do this. It would have to be done very efficiently and it would have to be right the first time. The government has proven that it is completely incapable of managing something like this at every stage of the three year test run they just had. Now I think the private sector will take the lead in some capacity.

>> No.54607649

This is how I'm seeing it at least. There will be no mass degradation of the quality of life here because it is not profitable for those who rule us. That's all this is about. But I think these AI tools will of necessity give us more freedom over our own lives. The AI that helps you do your job more easily will have equivalents that better help you with other aspects of your life like learning a language or studying a subject. Pretty soon much of the value creation in our society will be centred around these things, and the creation of value will be happening at the ground level of real people doing real things. I think naturally wealth will pool around these real people in a way that those forced by circumstance to implement them did not quite anticipate. Regardless of how you look at it, the movement towards AI will empower the average person more so than he is today. Power is zero sum, and this power will ultimately flow from those who currently hold it. The specifics hardly matter when the big picture becomes clear. That's how I'm seeing it, and I'm trying to be as impartial to ideology or morality as possible. It's just about money; the energy that money represents is what gives these things their narrative quality.

>> No.54607793

>>54606872
Sure. Consider how AI models would go about aggregating resources. An aggregator product like this would be a very profitable resource for whoever built it, so we can know it will be built. Now, our AI aggregator needs to be able to acquire resources from disparate sources. How will these AIs automatically facilitate value and resource transfer between one another? They will participate in...markets. Markets imply currencies. Do you think that USD will be the dominant currency in these markets?

Remember that energy is the currency of the universe, and that data is a record of energy expended in the world. It's a receipt for energy spent, just like the currencies we wage for. Which entities hold all of the data in our societies? Who holds the actual commodity that will back the currencies that have only just now become possible? Do you think that governments hold the most valuable data; do you think that their data is the most easily commodifiable?

In Kelowna there were people with houses worth $300k or so pre-pandemic, ballooned up to $700-900k, sold to some new immigrant family who was conned into a variable rate mortgage who is now facing $10k/month mortgage payments, and now will probably end up in the hands of a bank.

The leaf tard here simping for more state control and curtailing free speech uses the same exact arguments as my russian vatnigger friends. "the state knows better", "they wouldn't do it if it wasn't necessary", "don't break the law or get your life destroyed"
I like that many people in this thread challenge him, even if part of the support may partially come from the deluded american zigger /pol/ apologists
The state does NOT know better, the state will drive the country off the cliff in the same way russia does right now if it's unchallenged
Even if the source of the complaint is a retarded racism complaining about the multi-culti, you can't destroy people's lives over it.

actually most people i know are pretty clean aside from myself. so i don't know if the stinky canadian is a true stereotype. but in our defense we don't like to wear shoes indoors, while americans never remove their shoes except to change their shoes and even sleep and shower with their shoes on.

Not true. Canada’s tech sector sucks compared to the US. It’s not even close. The Canadian economy is basically just selling parcels of land to the highest bidder trying to escapes their shithole country and come shit up ours.

over 200 people, were cited in the national court of having their bank accounts extrajudicially and retroactively frozen without notice without court order in -20 degree weather. If not for charity this individuals would've frozen out. Moms on the other side of the country accounts couldn't make mortgage payments or buy groceries for their children. They estimate 6 months before the real court makes a ruling on the justifiably of evoking the emergencies act, and I'll know without a doubt the true character of this nation. You go about trying to normalize blantant human rights violations like this like a poorly programmed satanic robot, I know you'll let it burn all around you as long as you can keep your eyes on your computer screen, one day you'll wake up and not be able to put anything in your fridge

By simply providing a wishlist and items to sell. A quantum computer can metaphorically freeze time and actually calculate the laborious task of trading 2/8 of a cow for 3/4th of a chickens foot, it can quickly solve economies with just single incidents of wants. Currency is just a proxy, for the reality markets are solved in P but can only be confirmed as efficient in NP. With barter chains You can solve in Super turing NP and confirm efficiency in super turing NP

That doesn't include the unofficial amount of people entering the country. There are at least 1 million people coming into this country every year. Temporary foreign workers, new immigrants, non permanent residents
international students, illegal aliens and refugees coming in. Also the Ukrainian refugees.
