To be honest, 10% isn't terrible. The OP is quite possibly correct that we are in for very hard times. You can do a lot worse than to hold gold and silver.

As for cryptoassets, I really tend to recommend that people stick to BTC and ETH. Maybe have 10% of your crypto portfolio in some moon shots, but I just can't recommend any more than that. In general 50/50 BTC/ETH in a private hardware wallet should do quite well. What percentage of overall portfolio depends on your age, but I have around 20% I think.

Internet was and still is far more potent than this shitty 'asset class' almost exclusively used for speculation. The best you can squeeze out of crypto is the removal of some middlemen, having the ability to track all transactions, and removing the need for manual accounting. You can bet people won't recognize the projects aiming to do those things and will just gamble away their money on the first rug they see.
