Speaking of French coins (last thread) some of you frogs should go over to the biblioteque nationale website and find me some old articles from the 60s and 70s that explain why they rebased their money with silver and how the public received the changes. Alright frogbro, I got those cheapie Japanese .950 shakers about as nice as I can without firing up my buffing wheel. They're basically flawless and will shine like mirrors after that. They say weighted but are more accurately "loaded base" where they had a little molten lead poured into the bottom instead of shitty fragile resin or plaster. The lead is only in the necked-down section between the hollow pedestal base and the main body.

I got 5 standing liberty quarters in the mail today. Now I'm up to half a tube of those. In 1964 those 5 quarters would pay an hour of minimum wage. The melt value of those same 5 quarters today is $23.10. I make that working on a farm driving semi and farm equipment.

Detail of the bottom, cut threading and socket. Very thick gauge and sturdy pieces, most get dented over time just from normal table use but you could probably jam one of these through someone's temple and pluck it back out little worse for the wear, they're truly superior pieces even if they don't look like it.

oh sorry, a long barrel revolver. Pistols became illegal here basically (well unless you have a section 5 license, which you aren't getting unless very specific circumstances). We can only have a pistol if it's total length is 60cm. I know laugh, but yeah, uk is gay. But We can have say a taurus LBR, or even a regular pistol with a fixed wrist brace. I'm so ashamed. But the upside is no calibre restriction. A .357 or a .45acp is perfectly legal. But I just have a couple of shotguns and me 7.62 rifle

wow. a suppressor is totally fine here. kek, they even recommend one for "health and safety", bang sticks are loud lmao. I'm surprised actually at some of our laws. You want a .50 cal oh that's fine. You just can't have an automatic or a pistol because those are bad. Ok officer neckbeard. Whatever. I've actually been thinking about becoming a "collector" which bascially allows me to own and shoot anything here. But I have to own firearms of "significant historic interest". Example, a welrod, or a 1911 would be fine, as long as i'm a legit "collector" I can't just own one and say well I wanted it. But buy 10? am a collector and it's fine. KEK. We are full on retarded here. I needs me an AK-47 and a Saiga officer, because they "significant". Ah fun times. I'm actually debating big arse rifle, or PMs right now. I have plenty of PMs and not enuff guns dammit.

Yea the suppressor laws are asinine, most of our regulations come from liberals and politicians whose entire firearm knowledge is from John wick, terminator, or predator movies. The collector thing may be the right move, sounds like it would open the door to getting more guns. I feel you on the automatic, I would love to get one but I would need I think a level 4 ffl and they cost 10s of thousands if not six figures depending on the gun you want.

ouch. at least that part is not too bad for us. We pay about £80 for 5 years for our loicense and you can put everything on that. No matter what it is. actually the collector thing is fun because you don't even need a loicense for that. You just have to inform the piggies about what you have. If I wanted an AK or a 1911 or whatever, no change or increase in price. I think you have much better laws than we do, but then i'm also surprised that we can easily obtain some of the things that you can't. At least I've read some of your states don't really like .50 cals and for us, if you've got your FAC (firearms certificate) you can put whatever you want on it. whatever calibre. The cops can't actually say no, you can have whatever size you want. Suppressor isn't even a restricted item here. In fact I don't even need to tell anyone or put it on any cert, I can buy one the same day I get my gun and they can't stop me. Just goes to show you that the gun laws are all made by idiots. I wish we hadn't lost our rights to pistols or autos though. Maybe one day i'll live somewhere where those things aren't considered bad. But I can live with what I have. At least I can protect myself and my stacks. Am focussed mostly on owning gold at the moment so I think i'll buy some more interesting guns in a year or two. The collector route is very interesting, I legit wouldn't mind owning some antique or interesting firearms.
>>54571079
hah yeah bro, it is, i've never held any cash at all before. I used to just turn it all into PMs. Now I keep a bit of a stack of paper too, mainly so I don't have to cash in my metals if there's some temporary bullshit afoot.

I'm not sure if there any laws against 50 cal in some states but that wouldn't suprise me at all. I've never owned anything collectable, I want something but it would also kill me if it was old enough it wouldn't be safe or if it would hurt the value for me to shoot it. >In a small bowl, combine half a box of baking soda with water. Stir to form a paste that is not runny but is thoroughly wet.

>Dip the clean sponge or cloth into the paste and rub it onto the dirty silver items.

>Wait about 30 seconds for lightly soiled items and leave the paste on for up to 10 minutes for more heavily tarnished silver.

>Thoroughly rinse the silver with cool water.

The 60cm thing is a common part of European gun-laws, the difference is how severe the restrictions are when buying things smaller than it.
e.g. German hunting permit allows you to buy as many pic-related as you like (but only 10 round mags unless grandfathered), but limits you to only two guns below 60cm in length collapsed.

The reason being that "long-guns" are not really relevant in crime-statistics as concealability is the main concern for criminal activity.
If cries for gun bans in the US were based on statistics they'd cry for banning sub $400 pistols instead of black rifles.

Good video to get an impression on what gun laws in the Schengen-Area are supposed to be from a swiss gun-"ban" perspective.

Should mention it's how it's supposed to be based on the EU parliament in which parties vote for stuff they know would be unpopular in the home countries, so they can claim "it's the EU we had nothing to do with it" a home.
On guns, all main parties, left and right, voted for the last mag-ban, usually while telling the sheep at home "Our gun laws are fine nothing has to change".
Same with light-bulbs, petrol-engines etc.

basically what >>54573157 says. But assuming you were randomly chosen that night, get a safe thats hidden but not hard to find, stuff it with a few of pic related next to an image of ebola-chan, tape a key onto the side of it (wont matter, you forgot to close and lock it) and you'll be fine.

Next, for your real stack; open your medicine cabinet above the bathroom sink and cut out the back then also take out the wall and wa-la new secret hideyhole! put everything in there and put the back of the cabinet into place. Then drill a hole into the top of cabinet and proceed to fill with marbles.

Protip: baby latches are great to prevent doors opening the whole way. Put one in your cabinet so marbles will not disperse all at once, thus allowing panic to set in to the intruder.

Good morning, pmg.
Hope you're well. I bought only a couple of dollar coins yesterday. One 1880 Morgan with a lovely bit of peacock coloured patina, and a pristine 1935 Peace dollar. I was astonished to find out I didn't have a 1935 yet! I might get photos of them later.

Did you already get the 10g gold bar at spot deal from SD bullion? If so, did you already make an account with a family members name that lives in your house and get the new customer deal a second time that way? If not, no.

gems are fun to collect but not something to generally stack, they can be a massive headache to sell.

Lol. Checked and see my prior posts.
I've ordered from bold a few times. They're GTG. Hero shipped my last order in 2 days! I'm about 3 weeks lately from bold or GSM. GSM didn't seem to jack up their premiums on fractionals much (comparatively) so for anyone willing to pay $7-8 over spot on 1ozers, you can get a tube of quarters or halfs for similar premiums on GSM still. I personally like fractionals better than constitutional if I ever had to use them for barter. It would likely make negotiations a lot simpler than explaining 90% of x weight on y coin from before 1964 etc... people are dumb. 1/4, 1/10th or 1/2 of spot price is simple enough though.

It's over a dollar cheaper than the Aztec rounds from the same vendor those posters were discussing. Also, check out my posts. You can get coins for marginally less than rounds still if buying a tube or more.

I think shipping times can be a toss up. I've had very fast ship times from Hero but my dad has been waiting almost 2 weeks for an order to even ship. His order was pretty diverse but I don't see how hard it could be to pack.

It's pretty fucked everywhere. I bought 5 coins and some caps to hit the minimum $150 shipping last week and I was shocked I got a tracking number 2 days later. I expected a couple weeks like everyone else lately.

Not the same website or even the same country but I was annoyed when it took 2 days after my order for them to ship. From what I've been told, I should be expecting mass silver shortages right now.

Idk where you're at but there is still lots of stuff in stock here in the US at most online places and especially larger bars. The delays seem to come from the amount of orders theyre filling, just labor issues (my guess).

I hope mailbox thieves haven't caught wind of the influx of PM's being shipped. Even when signature is required I've noticed my mailman just dumping it in the mailbox.

Ya, it's a real concern. I can imagine delivery employees start to notice package names and may get tenpted. Living in all white areas negates a lot of those fears, but I've only been that fortunate myself for a few years now. I hope all true anons ITT make it soon.

>> No.54577400

One anon who posts here said he was a mailman and can easily tell when he's delivering shiny rocks just from the feel of the packages, then the phony return name just confirms it.

I imagine they notice things lol. I was a delivery driver a long time ago and I could identify a lot of package's contents based on the sender, size, weight, and recipient. There's no way around that, but every legit operation gives free shipping insurance that I know of. You can always pay extra for FedEx/UPS and request to pick up at a hub or whatever if you're concerned. Gotta play the cards you're dealt. I'm not losing sleep over it lol.

I was away from home for spring break and got a delivery notification. Lucky for me, my sister could stop by my place and pick it up.
I get home and there's another package (tube of Brits) that I hadn't received a notification for just hanging out on my porch. Thank goodness for the suburbs!
