Its understood multivitamins have a basically neutral effect across major meta analyses and many refer to them as worthless.

Has anyone felt a significant difference in their mood, energy or overall wellbeing due to taking a standard multi?

I feel this an important aspect studies don't discuss, personally I feel significantly better taking pic related for a few days then its sort of self limiting and I decide to stop.

I blow huge ropes when I take my vitamins, but barely a few drops when I don't
whatever the fuck is in mens multivitamins is neccessary for semen production, which is probably why the jews dont want you taking them

I take a multivitamin when I can be bothered to, and I cannot say that it had any noticeable effect, but it stands to reason that it would not absent an acute deficiency like shingles or scurvy. To my knowledge, the body has no mechanism to signal an acute vitamin shortage, since vitamins were "assumed", in evolutionary terms, to always be available. An instructive case is the presence, but selective disabling, of the genes for the synthesis of vitamin C in humans. As far as I know, it's presumed that vitamin C was so abundant in the diet of hominids that key genes were switched off without deleterious effects. Since there was no scarcity of fruits, there also is no signaling mechanism for deficiency - if you eat something every day, there's no need to signal that specifically. It's enough to signal the hunger, and then the thing you're gonna eat will contain vitamin C anyway.
This is in contrast with substances which act on neurotransmitters, which do control mood. This is why substances that cause elevated dopamine-levels cause cravings: there, there's a pretty straight line from "I take this shit" to "I feel good".

Bioavailability is low. You get about 80% of the benefit if you take half of a tablet. It is the vitamin C, Vitamin D, and zinc that you are most likely to need.

Eat Borax for proper protection, due to spike protein shedding, nanoparticles, heavy metals, soil depletion and hormone imbalances from various factors. NAC helps as well, strengthening your immune system and removing the strength of parasites and fungus from your body. Home-roasted coffee is also greatly beneficial, due to the freshly made and graphene-dust-free coffee. Lastly, I eat Berkley Jensen Adult Multivitamin Gummies. It’s been helping me, and tastes goos.

Multivitamins gave me kidney stones when I had them several years ago after a few months of taking one a day, same thing happened to my buddy of similar age. Nowadays I take d3, k2, b1, quercetin, aspirin, zinc, magnesium, and a probiotic.

As others have said, most cheap multis are useless. Solgar is the only one I would take that you can get in stores generally. You also need to take it with food, certain vitamins, like D, are fat soluble so you need to have it with some food fats for your body to absorb it properly. It's always better to get nutrients from food but I see general benefits from taking one everyday for decades so far and will continue to do so.

No the didn't, you're retarded.

Multivitamins probably do nothing, but smart people don't care. They certainly don't hurt, and there's a chance they could help, so why wouldn't you take them?

I never had kidney stones in my life, as did my buddy. We both started taking oneaday multivitamins, and we both got it a couple months later -- we lived about 800 miles apart from one another and have entirely different diets and habits. Then I came across this and confirmed it:
https://www.health.harvard.edu/blog/high-dose-vitamin-c-linked-to-kidney-stones-in-men-201302055854

When I dose vitamin c myself, I can take it (and other water solulable nutrients) in lower quantities and have been fine. vitamin d3 and k2 has been the biggest game changer.

Most vitamins are water-soluble, so if you take too much of them and don't drink enough water, you can definitely get kidney stones.

I only take one multivitamin pill per week, because I don't want to overload my kidney with something that I might not even need.

Holy fuck, I can't make this any simpler for you. Multivitamins don't contain enough of ANYTHING that when taken once a day, will do anything to you. There isn't enough Vitamin C in a multivitamin to give you kidney stones, which I already knew, and the link you provided agreed.

Do NOT take One a Day. That shit gave me nausea and I didn't realize that's what was causing it for months, even when taken with a meal. Most of you probably don't need to take a multivitamin, just a B complex. You can calculate how many vitamins you are getting from your usual daily meals using Cronometer

https://cronometer.com/

>> No.54553902

My stack, along with eating healthy, is:

B complex
D2/K1
Psyllium husk
CoQ10
Glucosamine Sulfate
Fisetin
Magnesium L-Threonate
Melatonin short and extended release
Zinc picolinate

Meds:
Prozac
Hydroxyzine (this shit is underrated as a sleep aid)

>> No.54554591

some synthetic vitamins may be toxic to the body in high doses.
for example, ascorbic acid on its own in high doses has a limited protective effect and may even cause damage. however, if you want to high dose C without problem and get all the beneficial effects you take from natural sources. this is why we have freeze dried acerola cherry, camu camu, kakadu plum, rosehip powders etc as they have all the polyphenols are other enzymes intact. if you buy something that claims natural, be sure to read the label carefully and make sure they haven't mixed ascorbic acid or ascorbate in to make it cheaper. (check for 'ascorbic acid' or 'ascorbate' wording to determine if its synthetic)

kind of similar to NAC vs glutathione supps. you take NAC and your body uses it to create glutathione no probs. take the glutathione supp (end product) for long enough and you risk having too much in the body and now any damaged cells cannot properly signal that they need to be terminated.

Jesus Christ this board is full of retards. Good catch-all supplements for almost any biznessman:
>zinc
>magnesium
>fish oil that's very high in DHA and EPA (not all are)
>green tea extract if you don't drink loose leaf green tea
>probiotic if your gut is fucked / if your diet isn't rich in fermented foods

Zinc and magnesium should be water soluble forms. Gluconate or similar. Avoid zinc/magnesium oxide.

If you are over 40 or get brain fog/whatever, there are a few cognitive support supplements like NAC and CoQ10 that are worth looking into, they don't work for everyone though. If you are fatigued as hell, B complex supplements and maybe CoQ10 and a few others are worth a shot.

If you are really fucked up, there are some weird-ass out-there supplements you could look into, but for most they aren't worth it.

There are a few multivitamin brands that are okay, but a targeted approach is generally better.

Buy online, anything in brick and mortar sales is shit. If you want brand recs or dose recs, name a supplement category.
