Then what do you make of the relatively new ad deals on twitch?
For the last 6 months or so, streamers have gotten obscenely good deals to run ads like 2-6 minutes per hour. They're getting like 100x as much as they used to get from ads. In the past most streamers didn't even run ads because the income was so minuscule, so you would only ever get preroll ads which were out of the streamers control.
I see only two possible explanations. The advertisers are paying twitch insane money, and the ad deals are just the fair share that the streamers ought to get. I think that's unlikely, no way there's that much money in advertising and no way the market situation has changed so drastically in just the last year. The other is that twitch is afraid of competition from kick and others and want to keep their streamers happy and loyal. So there's either money to be made or amazon are just being stubborn as fuck, either way I don't see why it's going to die. The viewer experience has quickly gone to shit with all the ads though, so it's kind of a short-sighted thing, but it's par for the course in the tech world to make the free content as annoying as possible to get people to pay for premium/subs etc.

Two "early" reports from FRC and WAFD today both beat expectations, but that doesn't speak to any guidance they may have offered for the rest of the year.
What I think will be interesting is how "expectations" compare to what are likely to be reliable, even larger than previous, return quarters for most of the sector despite SVB failure. If the ratings houses are gonna try to bag prices into the summer, perhaps to cushion any shocks from the petroleum dollar shift, or just to soak more divies for themselves, for instance. Or if they'll conspire to hop-prices to inflate balances since loan rates aren't cheap, or just to unload.

Anyone got any thoughts?
