You should play rain world if you’re into games like that. It’s retardedly hard but it’s fucking amazing. It’s unlike anything I’ve ever played. It’s like a mix between a survival game and a metroidvania and all of the creatures are procedurally animated. It’s difficult to describe, but the game has an extremely lifelike feel to it. Nothing ever happens the same way twice and you have to constantly be thinking on your feet. Once you sink your teeth in you’ll see that it’s truly a marvel of game design. I can’t stress enough that people should play this game.

It’s more like Another World but you’re a worm that’s trying to reach nirvana because a giant robot told you to. The atmosphere is very chill and oppressive at the same time. Fantastic sound design and art direction really draws you in, but gameplaywise you are at the mercy of basically everything around you and basically everything is terrifying. Each area of the game has its own unique ecosystem that has to be adapted to in order to progress and it really makes you feel like you’re a little worm on the forest floor desperately trying to find someplace that you can live amongst the vicious predators you share your home with. It’s fucking crazy man.
