Had 2 kids with my ex and lived in a house with her that I bought entirely. Was completely terrified of her taking half my shit if she left since her family hated me and encouraged her to do it at the slightest argument. Basically my solution was to remind her that she'd be a broke single mother if anyone else had knocked her up and I can understand why her broke family (her parents are 50 and renting kek) are all cheering at the idea of her gaining a 6 digit net worth out of this. This worked pretty well since she was stubborn as fuck, hasn't even tried to claim child support or any of my assets. Would recommend to anyone else going through something similar.
