Any good coin shop owner should have something like a Sigma there and if they have any customer service skills, will test it for you right there for you to see (assuming they're not overflowing with people at the time). Also if you're that worried about fakes, stick to coins. Bars are much more commonly faked, esp gold in assay cards. Coins are much easier to test and spot fakes because of the intricate designs and security features. Britannias are excellent for their built-in security like the laser etched hologram lock that's done at the Royal Mint with lasers so fine, they're too expensive to fake.

>> No.54519658

I don't think silver rounds are usually faked anyway because counterfeiters like to target high premium items like American eagles, gold assay bars, and proof coins like collectable Morgan dollars, etc.

i dont usually seriously mine on river banks. I will snipe for fun around the edges of creeks or down in the bottoms of them with a dry suit. Its honestly pretty random, the more you look / work the more likely you are to actually get a good amount back for your labor. I ve gotten 10-11 grams on some days by hand by sniping, but some of the old timers I ve worked with have found several pounds at a time by hand working in creeks or dredging. Its also become very rare to find course gold over a few grams, the huge nuggets are usually too deep to get at by hand now.

Most of the time your not actually finding gold, but investigating spots that might have gold. 90% of my wanderings is looking for ground thats worth mechanical mining, and unfortunately thats getting very hard to locate.

My last two gold buys where around a quarter and a third ounce and at 2.4 and 1.1% premium (which was lower than any 1Oz coin I could find). If I had gotten boring bars, I could have gone like .5% lower even. Unless you’re going Kilo bars, sub 3% premiums seems pretty good to me!

Yes. Best spot I had was right at the beginning of the curve where I tried first, but I wanted to test lower towards the water, hoping to find bigger stuff and not only fine flood gold. Guess the bedrock below the big gravel could be good but I didn’t have the time required.
But especially on bedrock it sometimes is indeed utterly random. Some tiny structures you don’t really see causes heavies to accumulate. Like this manhole cover. WTF? Probably could yield some good stuff, but fuck getting a hernia for a bit of gold.

Better late than never. If silver goes down against the dollar later in the next year or two, don't despair. a lot depends on the area. my area floods often and the path can change. my local creek produces better results than some claims/clubs ive joined on bigger rivers. pickers are rare but if I find the streak and work it. they're in there. I don't stack with any illusions of getting rich. That's what passive income is for. I recently got me a tiny sluice. Still trying to get the hang of it. Turns out, my home river mostly doesn’t have enough flow/drop for it.
At this spot, it would have worked, but I had to go with low baggage, so the sluice stayed at home. I got kinda fast with my pan, but most time is spend classifying it seems, which I still need to do with my sluice.
I guess the most time you can save comes with experience and knowing how a spot/area “works”.

Emailed the shop and they said they actually have cameras watching the fulfillment guys and sure enough, he didn't pull what I ordered. Buying antibiotics with e-coin
Pros: don't have to leave your house
Cons: it's a honeypot from the start and you go to jail.
Your traffic gets intercepted because the police are more online every year and you go to jail
You get robbed/assaulted because you are dumb enough to give your address to criminals
Your transactions online are traceble and permanent and you could get caught later down the road
Buying antibiotics with cash, gold, silver
Pros: untraceable
Very slim chance the person you meet is undercover since that requires an agent in the field and antibiotics don't have special task forces
You don't give your address to a criminal who may use it or sell your info to someone else to use later
You meet face to face in public lowering your chance things go badly
Cons: you have to leave your house
Third and not retarded option go to the doctor lie about having a sinus infection like I do six times a year and get some antibiotics

>premiums
I like the idea of goldbacks. Hyper fractional gold you can use in every day transactions with the added cachet of being recognized as legal tender by several states.
The premiums are huge compared to gold coins, but the premiums are figured in to the exchange rate, so you don't immediately lose like you do with fractional gold bullion.
If you're patient and watch carefully, you can get GB's for under the exchange rate, which cuts the premium a lot.

When they say "1/2 of .900 gold" are they saying that you get a half ounce of metal that is 90% gold or are they saying you get a half ounce of gold and 1/20th of an ounce of other metal?

Are buffalos objectively the best gold coin? I actually like the maples better but I'll get annoyed when the design changes when some old fucker dies. I fucking hate the notch on the edge of eagles and also prefer 9999. Any advice bros?

For me, it's the Krug

For bullion, yes. I think they're tied with the 50 pesos for best bullion coin.

For me it’s not 24k. Shit is too soft to be real money. I stack Gold eagles, Krugs, and Coronas. Though I do have a 50 pesos because it’s so pretty. Buffalos are really good looking though and I do want to add one to my stack eventually.

Any fren knows the origin of those hallmarks? It was in a lot of random old silver items (goblets, spoons, pocket watches, necklaces,..) i recently won on ebay. I could identify all the other hallmarks, but not this one.

Those are by the anon who was creating all the chainlink fud threads earlier this week, then a few weeks ago all the jewjak threads (with that Jewish shooter kid image). He's being kept very busy. Is it the same org paying him for each thread flood, or his he acting for different parties?

If that creek turns a corner before it dumps into that pool check behind the big rock. When the water flows fast it should make a whorl along the big rocks opposite the undercut area, check there as well.

I also worked in a shipping warehouse. Priority packages got scanned and logged. I might be an idiot but between all the cameras and the tracking software, and the separation of stations the opportunities to steal were almost non existent. And even then every online retailer I've used has awesome customer service. I heard of a dudes neighbor stealin his shipment and gsm just replaced the ahipment

Yeah, your lower arrow is on my list. Looks like some pothole, filled with rounded, large gravel.
I really want to check out the upper section, but I’m afraid that’s going to be a very slippery climb. Or in deep winter with my ice climbing gear and a blowtorch…
No way to get to it from the top, there’s a 100ft waterfall. I could rappel in, but that’d probably draw some attention. But I’ve got enough work already on that lower section, but if I empty that, I’ll move upstream.
