415,200 link paid to nodes in a year. Thats either coming off a balance sheet or bought spot. Its also just one service (price feed) for just one of the major integrations.

415,200 is also 1/2408th of the total supply. So assuming no other use cases and no other customers and that no marines have link in wallets, that no node operators sell rewards, and full supply is circulating them GMX would take 2k+ years to buy up the supply.

Luckily that's not the case. Over the next decade this shit is going to be quite amazing to watch. Many will become quite wealthy and the whales and early adopters will be uber rich.

As much as I like that link is one o the only legit projects, so much future speculation is alwasy baked into the price(ie like years of hopium wild breadcrumb shit on here) that it's painful that actually charging what it's worth for the service and making defi pay up is not as big as it should be in terms of fundamentals vs the wild speculation. And that pisses me off since I would love for crypto to be a more rational market and be able to just pick out good projects with good fundamentals...

Keep in mind that these are just fees from the low liquidity bear market with the bull market yet to come. Keep in mind that that low latency oracles are just one small portion of Chainlink services. Keep in mind that GMX is just 1 (one) client out of the entire DeFi space which already heavily relies on various Chainlink services to operate.
