Let's say the BRICS nations don't create this hypothetical trade supercurrency (and to be clear I don't think they will, most of these countries hate eachother and have radically different interests), but instead all create their own gold-backed currencies independently. Does this ultimately make a difference if both buyer and seller are using gold-redeemable currency? Also, do any or all of them have or produce enough gold to actually make this happen? Is this normal for really nice condition Potsdam church 5 Reichmarks? I REALLY don't think it's cleaned, I don't see any kind of abrasion lines or loss of detail. But there's no cameo either, pretty much the whole thing is shiny like a lot of the early US proof sets. It has a slight cartwheel luster around the rims, too.
