Bro did you not see the 3 threads shitting on gold yet? Seriously though invest in a safe(s), do not buy custodial gold mixed or dedicated, if it's not in your hands it's not yours. Gold is best to buy if you're not planning on cashing out immediately after. Despite inflation you should just convert some BTC to cash and save the headache until you're employed. Hide some in your walls too, get some 1 oz coins or even 1/2 oz much more liquid than a 10 oz bar. Crypto is discounted over credit cards for exchanges but cash/check remains the best deal.

Eagles, gold or silver, have seen increased premiums than normal. Consider Britannias, Maples and Krugerands. Most of those are still coins but will save you about $100 an toz at the moment.
