The average cryptotard has over 100 investing transactions per day and that could be both CEX and DEX. The average wagie only has less than 10 or maybe none at all. Now imagine being able to do crypto transactions in seconds instead of waiting in line at banks and ATMs

The IRS should have seen this coming. You cant hire tens of thousands of people just to look at a few people that made 10 dollars profit from 20 transactions. It's insane. That's why they're gonna regulate the fuck out of crypto in order to harvest taxes better

Luckily it's all on the chain. Any large cash outs will be audited, they'll demand your wallets, trades, etc and you'll pay what you owe or go to jail. If they can't get the exact amount they'll just tax you at the theoretical top. If you kick and scream and cry about fairness just know that 95% of the country hates you for making money flipping magic internet beans and a jury will never side with you if you decide to fight back and not pay. Id suggest just having a savings account with roughly half your current crypto networth in USD so that you can pay whatever the taxman says come the time, or else I hope you like getting acquainted with Bubba in the county lock up. Toodles.

I have thought of a based way to approach this problem.
Develop a dapp that floods your wallet with thousands of meaningless transactions that give you +/- 1 usd in capital gains. Use this dapp in between every significant transaction. Submit your tax return as a list of these transactions, printed on paper. Intentionally make errors. You're doing it right if you submit a ~500 page spreadsheet document, double sided, of hex codes for transactions with their relative gain or loss, and half of the pages being almost unreadable due to the printer running out of ink. Intentionally introduce errors like pages out of order, coffee stains, hand written corrections and references to other pages, etc. Fuck these assholes. If they want all of my fucking transactions to be taxable they can hire an auditor for $100/hour to sift through all 78,000 of them.

The reason nobody is paying taxes.

1. its impossible to enforce in crypto.
2. Everyone knows the USD is about to hyperinflate anyway.

Nobody paid in the last 5 years honestly. Literally nobody is paying at all. If they go hard to enforce it then people will simply hide it more. If they crack down then all it does is make the USD even less attractive.

If they cant enforce it equally on everyone then nobody should have to pay. The concept of taxes is out date and does not work anymore. Its simple as that. You cant do it, it doesn't work anymore.
