Sup /biz/ I'm thinking of starting an Uber service in my city, but I'm stuck on what kind of ride to get. It's gotta be reliable, fuel-efficient, and plush for passengers.

I was thinking of going with a sick sedan like a Toyota Camry or Honda Accord. Hit me with your best tips for ride-hailing too, anons!

If you want to maxx with UberXL, the Chevy Traverse is far and away the best vehicle. It seats 8, still looks nice enough as an SUV, has all the bells and whistles and yet is quite low-priced for what is vs other mid/large SUVs.

I have one now. First got the idea from stepping into one as an Uber in the first place. I was shocked at the roominess. High mileage for a big car too, 18-26 mpg.

airbnb is atleast somewhat profitable for the renters of rooms in their houses. its a nice extra money if you need it and it doesn't cost you anything really.

driving people around in a car for money though is high effort and little reward. you wreck your car and get paid peanuts. also it takes up a lot of time. if you rent out a room with AIRBNB you can still go do some other job too. not when you are a uber driver

German brands aren't known for great reliability. It might be fun to drive in but not necessarily the most efficient car money-wise, if you're looking at this from a purely business sense. You can probably drive Uber Black with an Audi though which should help your profits.

That's not true, some German brands like Audi and Porsche have been ranked highly in reliability surveys. But it's true that some models from German brands can be expensive to maintain.
>You can probably drive Uber Black with an Audi though which should help your profits.
Yes, Uber Black requires a luxury vehicle, and Audi is one of the approved brands. So driving an Audi could help you earn more money as an Uber Black driver.
