This is one of those pivotal moments where things can go either way. If the stock can turn itself around and you were giga slurping at $.32 then you could do very well. Stock price aside, there is still a profitable business here. Even if we go to chapter 11 bankruptcy and restructure, we can still come out of this better than ever. Sure, we are getting awfully close to the edge, but this is still an opportunity based on the valuation alone. It's comically cheap and at these prices you can bet your ass you are pretty close to the bottom.

No. I slurped today, actually. I think I'll keep slurping all the way until we file for chapter 11, to be honest. Maybe not a lot, but I do think BBBY will be one of those companies that rises from the ashes. And if I am wrong, so be it. I admit defeat. But if I am right then I will wagmi so hard and my life will be infinitely better for it.
And even if it is a bad investment, at least if I continue to buy I may be able to get my cost basis low enough to where I can find an exit in the event of a dead cat bounce. I don't really care at this point.

This guy gets it. The stock price is the function of financiers, Wallstreet and hedgies. The fundamentals behind the company still remain. If we go to Chapter11 and restructure the debt we could be profitable immediately after and making money again in no time. This isn't a ticking timebomb of the stock price going to zero. That's not going to happen. At some point there will be short capitulation, there is no way around it. The cheaper it goes the more people can slurp and the less cost effective it is to short

Plenty of examples of this happening. I think the company is oversold and there are a lot of brokers with BBBY liabilities on their books they need to close out. It is not unheard of for bankruptcy proceedings to cause price spikes, too. The shorts must be shitting their pants and desperate for chapter 7, because there is no way that BBBY goes to the chop shop. Management doesn't seem to be acting like it's over either. Management could also be looking to sell off the company, given they already own a business that bulls in billions of dollars a year and has existing online retailing infrastructure.
Lots of assets and potential here. And according to my broker they have a $36M market cap. Comically cheap price if you ask me. I'll admit my account is red, but at these prices I don't see the harm in taking on more risk and averaging down.

Ever since 2/6 when the price ran up 120% to $7 per share, an emergency barcode algo has been activated and been walking the price down every since. This is not indicative of actual market forces aiding in price discovery. This is an algorithm being employed to ALWAYS drown out any buy volume with even more sale volume to ensure the price is strictly contained. On numerous occasions when the algo ceases, we see immediate green candles.
This tells me that someone is attempting to scare off buy pressure with the narrative of dilution and bankruptcy. However every time they test the waters they can see people are continually slurping shares. The problem is they were about to be liquidated on 2/6 when we started to squeeze, and this time however the option chain has been pulled back into a fatal gamma ramp. The shorts have taken the price as low as they can and thousands of options are profitable even at $1 per share. If they stop internalizing the buy orders into their darkpools, the price rises and squeeze conditions are all in place to destroy whatever zombie institutions that are still shambling around.

Illiquidity is the scariest word in Wallstreet. Go ask LTCM about the trials and tribulations of trying to invest billions of dollars in positions you can't move. It is the shorts that are providing the liquidity here, likely a market maker abusing their PFOF powers to continuously provide shares without allowing the buy orders hit the market.
There is no doubt about it, these "meme" stocks are causing someone somewhere a major headache. Retail showing up as a force is not a normal phenomenon that short sellers are ready to deal with. Especially a segment of retail that is in tune with the concept of naked shorting, cellar boxing, and the notion that holding and refusing to sell can cause problems. They are used to retail panic selling, as is the usual boomer response to bad news. We live in a new era of information with the usual MSM apparatus being characterized pathetically as "fake news". Numerous books have been written about the corruption of Wallstreet and everyone, across party lines, is seeing it first hand. Naked shorting is a DANGEROUS looting extraction mechanism and we sniffed it out and are applying pressure directly to their weakest spot. They can only spoof from here on out until they capitulate.
We are all going to WAGMI with the help of our favorite company: Bed BASED and Beyond.

The company reported that the shares outstanding has increased to >428m
>Much of the dilution is going into private hands of a yet to be disclosed buyer of our company.
Not a scrap of evidence for this. The warrants went to hudson, who were prohibited from owning more than 9.9% at a time, so must have been selling as they converted for the shares outstanding to balloon to this extent. There is not a single piece of evidence of them selling to a private seller rather than just dumping them on the open market for a quick profit. The filings for the latest $300m dilution specifically call it an atm offering, meaning that it is sold to the open market at the market price (which means that it's not to a private seller ya dingus).
>They need it to be true so they lie incessantly and try to spoof the price.

That is correct. The shorts are getting ahead of themselves trying to frontrun some whimsical "dilution" that never happened. They can't force the company into bankruptcy and all they can do is offer us cheapies. What happens, two more weeks of -10% days? So that puts us around $0.28? I am sure we can all see how this is nothing more than a rubber band being pulled back ready to shoot the short sellers right in the eye. If the management is going to turn this company around, which they are making good efforts to do so, then the price will only be headed up from here. Who even gives a fuck if we lose $0.07 per share from here? The short squeeze potential can send us into the stratosphere. The company is already established and makes billions per year. Worst case scenario we get restructured and we continue on stronger and more profitable than ever. And there will STILL be a squeeze as well.

Shareholders get the shaft during bankruptcy though, I think? So even if you put 100K in now, it can become worthless. I really wish this thing would squeeze for you all, but I have a feeling that they will only let squeezes happen if it benefits the chosen (like the most recent squeeze that only benefitted citadel and rycohn), not retail. Wall Street can rig anything to make you fail, it is a less fair game than even crypto. Why this Vendor Consignment Program is BULLISH AF:

>Vendor consignment program means that BBBY will receive inventory from vendors but will only pay for it when it sells.

>This reduces BBBY'S risk and allows them to stock more products without incurring additional costs upfront.

>By stocking more inventory, BBBY will be able to offer a wider range of products to its customers, potentially increasing sales and ultimately, revenue.

>The best part? By using this vendor consignment program, BBBY can raise capital without incurring additional debt or diluting the value of existing shares.

>With increased sales and revenue, BBBY has the potential to become profitable and regain investor confidence. And with heavily shorted stocks like BBBY, there's always the potential for a squeeze.

All authorized but unissued shares that are not reserved for issuance would remain available for
issuance by the Board for general corporate purposes and issuances pursuant to the Sales Agreement and the
Purchase Agreement at any time, at its discretion, without shareholder approval. If the Board were to authorize the
issuance of any such shares, such issuances could dilute the ownership interests of holders of Common Stock and
may also cause a decline in the trading price of our Common Stock.

Imagine, I exercise 250 call option contracts, that's 25,000 shares.

if BBBY hit $3.50, whatever scum sold the naked calls would have to purchase 100x BBBY shares at $3.50 multiplied by however many contracts they sold.

In this scenario, if the same naked call seller had sold 250 contracts, they would need to purchase 25,000 BBBY at $3.50 in which they are obligated to sell to me for .50 cents each. Exercising also intensifies the short squeeze.

25,000 * 3.50 = 87500
25,000 * .50 = 12500

87500 - 12500 = a $75,000 LOSS

I'll gladly sacrifice the option premium to wreck a few of these parasitic naked sellers.

June23, Aug23, Jan 2024, June 2025.

The earlier dated options are the ones I'm planning on exercising, otherwise I'd be sacrificing substantial option premium doing it with the latter expiration contracts.

Exercising options contracts is the way. If we could all get ITM call options, and exercise them at the same time, we could seriously wreck some hedge funds.

Tell me shorts are coping as hard as possible without directly stating they're coping as hard as possible. I direct registered a thousand shares this morning and there's enough direct registered it's literally impossible to drive it to nothing, to speak little if anything about the looming merger. Reddit was right and there's nothing you can do about it.

You don't need the same amount of shares for a merger, but regardless, newell has 413m and BBBY has 428m (as of a week ago, though they're printing far more than that).

Are you buying one share? That’s the only way it would be a .30 bet. Furthermore usually when a stock is that low in price it is not a good sign. Otherwise people would only be trading penny stocks

>What will be the post-bankruptcy cope?
Let's see it happen first. Sorry but I watched this company spike 15-25% daily and culminated in a 120% day move to $7 per share. Ever since that day on 2/6 we have been barcoding downwards. I simply do not believe the price and believe that we will spike higher at some point. Not only will we all get our money back buy we'll make a handsome profit as well. The company makes too much money and has a profitable subsidiary in buy buy baby that could be the target of M&A activity. And even if we do file for bankruptcy protection, restructuring the debt will be a good thing. Many companies have received a boost from it so there is zero concern regarding chapter 7.
Sure, this is a risky play, but I really do not see the price being anything other than a short hedge fund psychological trick to get retail to sell their positions. They were on REGSHO for 50+ days and all that time they were desperate to move the price lower. They jumped through hoops to get off REGSHO for a single day and this is supposed to impress anyone? It almost makes you want to believe the fud. I just choose to ignore it. I am more than happy to continue slurping shares at these prices and am excited to see where this all ends up.
Fortune favors the bold. This is like walking up the edge of a cliff to pick up a gold coin. Yes, it is dangerous and there is some risk that you could fall over the edge. But there is also the boundless tendies to be had when the shorts capitulate. M&A activity? Turnaround gameplan by management. How exciting!
