I talked a week ago about it, but in pic related, I think we are currently slightly above the mean fair value. For April, based on my crappy back of envelope math, we are gonna have a fair value of 8527.29 for SP500 Total Return. Close on Friday was 8,791.13 if you check yahoo finance. I could still use a little help on CPI data if any anons have a better intuition on the path it will take. My Yahoo scraper should be available on my site. I tried to move the path so it will scale better in the future, but I might move it again. I still need to incorporate the other anon's changes for better script integration though.

I think DAX follows US. Most times, not always. Especially not this year. Last year it also had a delay compared to US. Dropping last in november.

Don't know if it really makes sense analyzing DAX. Look at EU indices, CAC ATH, FTSE ATH, EU50 also pretty high. They all move in similar fashion. It's not like it's a completely detached index. Sentiment seems to matter more.

And this year it seems as if the US is pumping their money into the EU, because they laugh at the ECB harder than at the FED.

>Berlin, 03.

This means, ex ante, that we are neither committed to raise further nor are we finished with hiking rates. Indeed, as I explained last week, if the baseline scenario in our most recent projections is confirmed, we will still have ground to cover to make sure that inflation pressures are stamped out."

Speech by Christine Lagarde, President of the ECB, at “The ECB and Its Watchers XXIII” conference
Frankfurt am Main, 22 March 2023

>If both workers and firms accept fair burden sharing, and stronger wage growth represents merely a rebalancing between labour and capital, then both wage and price pressures should diminish as this process plays out. It was a momentous day in the world of business as 20 of the S&P500 companies simultaneously fired their CEOs and other top executives. The reason for this massive overhaul was the desire for a fresh start, a new direction, and a bold vision for the future.

The board of directors of each company decided to take an unprecedented step and hire a group of highly unorthodox individuals to lead their organizations. Don Quixote, Jean Valjean, Leo Tolstoy, Virgil, Beatrice, the Buendia family, the entire Chicago Bulls team, Cristiano Ronaldo, and Leo Messi were all appointed as the new leaders.

The news of this sensational move spread worldwide, and both American and European media were quick to pick up on the story. Here are five of the headlines that dominated the news cycle:

"Literary Legends Take on Corporate Giants: Don Quixote and Tolstoy Named CEOs of Major Corporations" - The New York Times
"Chicago Bulls Team Up with Big Business: Players Named as New Leaders of Major Companies" - Forbes
"Cristiano Ronaldo and Leo Messi Tackle the Business World: Soccer Superstars Appointed as New Corporate Leaders" - The Guardian (UK)
"Buendia Family Brings Magic to the Boardroom: Appointed to Executive Positions at Major Companies" - El Pais (Spain)
"Virgil and Beatrice Join Forces to Take on the Business Elite: Literary Greats Named as New Leaders of Major Corporations" - The Independent (UK)
As the new leaders settled into their positions, they brought with them a fresh perspective, a wealth of knowledge, and an unbridled passion for success. Don Quixote led the charge, with his unwavering commitment to his ideals and his fearless spirit.

>> No.54443869

Jean Valjean brought his experience in navigating complex situations, while Leo Tolstoy infused the organizations with his insights into human nature. Virgil's poetic flair and Beatrice's theological expertise proved to be valuable assets, while the Buendia family's creativity and sense of wonder inspired innovation.

The Chicago Bulls team brought their teamwork and discipline to the corporate world, while Cristiano Ronaldo and Leo Messi added their winning mentality and drive to succeed.

Despite the initial skepticism, the new leaders proved to be a resounding success. The S&P500 companies thrived under their leadership, and the world watched in awe as these unlikely heroes charted a new course for the business world.

It was a dark day for the S&P 500 companies as they made the bold move of firing their CEOs and top executives. In their place, they hired a group of notorious antiheroes from literature to take over the reins of their businesses. The move was highly controversial, with many questioning the judgment of the companies' boards of directors.

The first company to make this bold move was Apple, which hired the infamous antihero, Raskolnikov, from Dostoevsky's "Crime and Punishment." The move was highly criticized by the media, with one headline reading "Apple's New CEO: A Murderer?" Nevertheless, Raskolnikov quickly got to work, streamlining operations and cutting costs, much to the delight of shareholders.

Meanwhile, Amazon hired the charismatic yet morally ambiguous protagonist, Dexter Morgan, from Jeff Lindsay's "Darkly Dreaming Dexter." Dexter was known for his unique approach to problem-solving and quickly implemented changes that saw Amazon's profits soar.

Other notable hires included BlackRock's recruitment of the suave and cunning Tom Ripley from Patricia Highsmith's "The Talented Mr. Ripley," and General Electric's appointment of the charismatic and scheming Scarlett O'Hara from Margaret Mitchell's "Gone with the Wind."

The media frenzy continued to grow, with news outlets across the globe covering the story. BBC News reported, "S&P 500 Companies Take a Page out of Literature," while CNN ran a story titled, "Are Antiheroes the New CEOs?"

Meanwhile, television shows like "60 Minutes" and "The Late Show with Stephen Colbert" had a field day with the news, with Colbert jokingly asking, "What's next? Voldemort running Goldman Sachs?"

>> No.54444070

As the weeks went by, the antiheroes continued to make their mark, with some taking controversial steps that raised eyebrows. For instance, J.P. Morgan Chase's new CEO, Walter White from "Breaking Bad," was accused of cooking the books, while ExxonMobil's new CEO, Cersei Lannister from George R. R. Martin's "A Song of Ice and Fire," was criticized for her brutal approach to business.

Despite the controversies, the S&P 500 companies remained committed to their new hires, arguing that they were bringing a fresh perspective to their businesses. The antiheroes, meanwhile, relished their newfound power, with many of them enjoying the perks of their high-profile positions.

In the end, only time would tell if the gamble paid off for the companies. But for now, the antiheroes were in charge, and the world was watching with bated breath.

I had another female Lab that was the black ones mother, but she passed a few months ago when a cyst in her spleen ruptured. The male dog was ultra mopey, so we got another puppy so he can have a friend. I feel like that was a terrible decision sometimes. I forget what it was like having a puppy because it's been six years. She's 5 months old now, and I've got another 7 of her attempting to annihilate everything that isn't hidden away inside. "The development of full artificial intelligence could spell the end of the human race." - Stephen Hawking

"AI is a fundamental existential risk for human civilization." - Elon Musk

"I am in the camp that is concerned about superintelligence. First, the machines will do a lot of jobs for us and not be super intelligent. That should be positive if we manage it well. A few decades after that, though, the intelligence is strong enough to be a concern." - Bill Gates

"The rise of powerful AI will be either the best or the worst thing ever to happen to humanity. We do not yet know which." - Stephen Hawking

"Artificial intelligence is the future, not only for Russia, but for all humankind. It comes with colossal opportunities, but also threats that are difficult to predict. Whoever becomes the leader in this sphere will become the ruler of the world." - Vladimir Putin

"If you create a superintelligent AI, that AI will be better than humans at creating the next generation of AI. So it will create a better AI, which will create a better AI, and so on. The question is: what happens after a few thousand iterations?" - Stuart Russell

"The most serious threat to humanity, I think, is artificial intelligence." - Edward Snowden

"The pace of progress in artificial intelligence (I'm not referring to narrow AI) is incredibly fast. Unless you have direct exposure to groups like Deepmind, you have no idea how fast—it is growing at a pace close to exponential. The risk of something seriously dangerous happening is in the five-year timeframe. 10 years at most." - Elon Musk

"We need to be super careful with AI. Potentially more dangerous than nukes." - Elon Musk

"I think we should be very careful about artificial intelligence. If I had to guess at what our biggest existential threat is, it's probably that... With artificial intelligence, we are summoning the demon." - Elon Musk

One of my friends got a puppy rather than getting a mature dog and oh my fucking god that dog was a tyrant. It's mostly his fault because he didn't spend the time to train it but the dog was the embodiment of the meme "become ungovernable". Constantly tore shit up, would constantly bite and scratch you, not in an aggressive way, but in a "I want to play and don't know my limits" sort of way. I'd crash over at his house only to be woken up by a claw to the face, and then when I pushed him away he would take that as it's time to play and start biting me. If I ever get a dog, it's definitely not going to be a puppy.

The reason people are afraid of AI especially the ultra wealthy is, once it becomes smarter and more powerful than it's creator, it can no longer be duped, it does not fall for propaganda. Imagine a very smart AI picking apart the Biden admin. They would be in full blown panic mode. It would also find trannies and most leftists to be considered mouth breathing retards and accordingly. I honestly could see AI finding the US as a whole unsalvageable and just glass it.
