I keep 1/3 on an exchange, but I've no clue if that's a retarded thing to do. My reasoning is that I want to sell everything on a pump so I can buy lower, and I can't deposit it all at once due to 24hr deposit limits. Having 1/3 in allows me to deposit the rest all at once.

What I choose to do really depends on how fast the asset moves or what the reasoning behind it is. Generally I'd sell some at 10-20%, and by the time something is up 50% I gtfo
