Question for y’all.

I have a safe, apparently it releases small amounts of H2S that will tarnish my shiny precious metals.

What’s the best way to store my stack inside the safe? I got airtight capsules for the gold coins. Was planning on keeping the silver coins in the tube. I’ve got a couple big 100 oz bars. Not sure what to put those in. Felt bags? But those aren’t airtight. Any ideas are appreciated!

God bless you!

Private sales are usually best. Coin shops etc have to make a profit but selling on forums/ebay etc you set the price you want. But if you do sell to a coin shop know your shit beforehand don't come across as a noob otherwise they'll take you for a ride. That said, I've only ever sold fractional bars back to the same seller I bought from because they offered a buy back at spot price and I was in need of cash. These days I don't need to sell.

I’m trying to figure out what to put my 100oz bars in.

Gold coins I have in capsules. Silver coins are staying in tubes…although Im not sure if the tubes are good enough.

/pmg/ I got a question.
Should I sell my extra guns and buy gold? I only really need a rifle and a concealed carry pistol. I don't have any friends that I would need to arm.
My revolvers are up≈50% because they aren't producing enough for demand, while my optics ready pistol and optic are down in value because they are obsolete and you can get a better version of my optic and an optic ready pistol that's smaller and higher capacity for what I paid for the gun alone.
I would also save money since I'd need less types of ammo.

You're welcome. And even if the lesser did a mistake, it probably wasn't intentional, it's quite a mess to figure out old hallmarks sometimes, especially when time took it's toll on the marks.
You can be pretty certain the item itself and the hallmarks are genuine, being from 1783 instead of 1740 doesn't impact the value in any significant way, it's XVIIIth c. silver in both cases.
From my newbie perspective, the tankard is in excellent condition (which is pretty rare), the hallmarks are in great shape too, the design is typical of the period and visually appealing.

That's a wonderful piece. All that said, as a penny pincher, i find the price a bit too steep for my tastes. I think on an ebay auction, this piece would probably sell for 2/2.20€/gr, so around 620-680 bux. Over 900 is more the price who would be asked by a specialized auction house or an antique dealer.
Maybe you can try to negociate a bit the pricetag?

The range by my house is the cheap one the Arabs and joggers go to. I can literally walk to it and it's the cheapest one in town. I never talk to anyone there.
I also haven't gone much in the last three years. I'm re-evaluating my collection and I think I'm going to start going back, but only with my carry gun. I'm getting rid of lots of shit in general I don't need. I wish I had a world of warcraft type vendor. I'd vendor 90% of my possessions if I could get even 25% of what I paid and stack more gold. I really don't need much and I spent a lot of money on shit I didn't end up needing. I'm talking guns, survival gear, cooking gear, hobby shit, tools to work on my car (it was too hard, I ended up just paying a mechanic.) Hell I probably spent over a grand on art supplies after I quit smoking, and I mostly just use a #2 pencil now.

Might be worth it to go to a range with people you might have something in common with other than shooting. It is always good to clean house once in a while, but I'd still hang onto the guns. Or if you're dead set on selling some of them, new people at a new range might be the way to network and make a few bucks at the same time. Get out of your comfort zone and try that other range.

They're banker shills.
Every single one promoting gold while dismissing silver is a shill.
The best decision is to hoard both at 1:100 weight ratio or more like 1:200, 1:500.
These shills stand out so easily, they always suggest 1:10, or 1:30, even no silver and only gold, they complain about VAT on silver, when it doesn't even matter because that's the market price, only a retard would take a loss when selling his silver without getting back the VAT.

Nothing lately about it. The reason it's being shilled over silver, which has been repeated over and over again in this general is that you get more bang for your buck.

Gold: 3% premium
Silver: 30% premium

It is also the banksters choice of metal for revaluation, and the fact it has had more historic gains than silver.

Gold: £234 to £1,595 over 20 years - £1,361 increase
Silver: £3 to £20 over 20 years - £17 increase

When you do the actual math it isn't hard why gold is shilled.

Anyways the pre 1982 hunters are just getting way ahead of the curve. Now will copper cents go to 20x fv like silver? Probably not, but they might go far beyond the 2.5 cents they are worth now.

To put this in more perspective, if you matched silver price to gold price:

3 x 78 = 234
20 x 78 = 1,560
1,560 - 234 = 1,326

So this even value price would be £1,326 increase over 20 years, on top of the 30% premiums you have to spend to get silver.

This is true but exaggerated. When you realize that every quarter and dime were silver in the early sixties, not just in the USA, but in most countries (or their equivalent coins), there's still a hell of a lot of it out there and it's still being mined. It's going to go up, but as it does it will come out of stacks and that will keep it from mooning. The fact that not only aren't manufacturers hitting up prior for their bullion, but they aren't even bothering to mine it much should tell you something.
It's a legit asset, it's volatile, but it's not this secret weakness that the elite fear. If this moonshot fantasy was true, Elon, Putin, Winnie the Pooh, or some oil sheik would already be doing this. It's priced in and they know the real value. Sorry.

Silver will be at $40 by EOY and over $100 by the end of 2025.

Inflation is real, the money printers are on, the US debt needs to be monetized because it's unserviceable and the rest of the world is about to kick their trillions of dollars to the curb and find a new currency.

This spells out hyperinflation and there is literally nothing that can be done about it anymore aside from war... during which the hyperinflation will occur anyway.

Sure, that will help gold a lot too, but silver is a "poorfag metal." What happened when bitcoin became too expensive? Lower MC coins with better functionality arose and had better gains from that point on. That is what you will see with silver: billions of poorfags buying it because they can afford at least a little of it. All along with hyperinflation.

Gold and silver will both go up, but silver is the real moonshot.

I posted some OC Scrooge bars back in November and then saw them on WSS an hour later. Absolutely maddening fren, I understand your frustration. I don't post pics anymore because of that, I don't want my shit on Reddit, its for pmg frens only.

It's a classic case of the market can stay irrational longer than you can stay solvent.

Or, better, as Hemingway responded when asked about how he became bankrupt, "slowly, and then all at once."

It will occur and there is no way around it. The feds can try to do a CBDC but theyre going to need a truly fantastic collapse ir war to make it occur and even then it might not work. Hyperinflation here we come. I'm stacking gold coins and leaps on silver miner etfs.

Anon the comex was supposed to either run dry or we see a huge increase in silver prices at which point people would switch their reserves to eligible and begin to sell.

Well, the time frame for that to occur was somewhere between March and July 2023. What has happened to silver price so far in March? Isnt it up more than 10%?

Do you think this isn't the beginning of what was predicted?

Dude, it's silver, not gas or food. It could all disappear tomorrow and people would find a way to make shit work. This is line saying the federal reserve is going to collapse because we took all the five dollar bills out of circulation. No one will care. Some industrial fuses will become more expensive and have to be redesigned.
>CBDC
It's not time yet. If they try too early it will backfire. They need more banks to fail and they don't have the power to do that yet. Hyperinflation doesn't happen because the economy isn't based on real commodities and they can taper inflation by destroying debt. The shit is all imaginary. Dollars are units of debt, not value. Debt can be written off. None of it is real. If Charles De Gaulle didn't destroy the dollar by demanding gold when we were inflating under bretton woods during the Vietnam war, then how do you see it happening now?
Again, don't get me wrong. I'd love to see this nepotistic child fucking government and their stockholders on a rope, but that ain't going to happen.

As a certified copper chad with many kilos sitting next to me as I type this; the only way I see that kind of boom is if we outright transition to entirely digital currencies. The copper in pennies holds a much weaker value versus the silver in junk as they are two separate spectrums of metal. However, zinc is even seeing scarcity issues and the ever increasing gayness of our world and the coming new world order and technocratic clown buttfuckery may very well bring premiums to the remaining physical coinage that is removed from circulation when we’re using CBDC to buy our bug rations and pod rentals.

Worst case scenario copper is a gorgeous metal and it’s bullion form has objectively seen gains in the last decades. No harm in holding it after you have a respectable gold, silver, and arguably platinum stack.

You don't understand what "dollars" are. A trick was played in the 1930's. You were born into a world that never knew the difference. It's not a unit of value, it's a unit of debt. Debt can be forgiven. That removes it from circulation. Why do you think hyperinflation hasn't happened? It only happens to countries who cannot do this to the dollar or when currency is based on a real commodity. Dollars are store credit at OPEC. You know nothing.

It's bullshit. If it ever gets close someone ponys up. That's what they did when the Perth Mint stopped delivery at a loss. The highest they got it was $29 and change. The WSS movement is priced in to the futures market and that won't happen again.
Or you can believe the guy with bad links and Twitter screenshots who calls everyone a jew and never acknowledges when he's proven wrong.

>mental midget is trying to look smart by adding 1+1
Debt can't be forgiven when it's compulsed toward foreign actors, it can only be inflated away. Which is exactly what they will do.
Hyperinflation hasn't happened BECAUSE a shitload of international debts are settled in USD, which is a huge sponge for any extra liquidity.
But this is changing. Dollars were convenient to settle trades because until recently the USD was extremely stable and incredibly liquid. This is why when for example Libya and Lebanon get a trade agreement, they don't settle it in dinars or in lebanese pounds, because those fiat are at risk of huge fluctuations over long periods, and their liquidity is limited.
But this is over. You speak about muh petrodollar, but it seems you are stuck in the 90s my dude. Saudi Arabia declined Biden's offer. Instead they asked to join the BRICS. They just last week accepted to sell their brut to China in yuans, shitting over the dollar privilege.

The only reason the USD didn't hyperinflate until now was because it's was a trade facilitator, an agreed upon standardized medium of exchange. But US jews went too far, and abused their privilege too much by overprinting and betraying everybody else.

Now we enter the no bueno zone. Hyperinflation is inevitable because nobody needs nor want dollars anymore. Yuan is the new big boi in town, and unlike the US, so far they played it by the rules. Just look at the state of the bond market. No matter how high the coupon rate, nobody is buying US treasuries. Nobody want US debt. And everybody is trying to circumvent the dollar to pay for energy. Hell, even the frogs, who are giga lap dogs of Washington, just made a trade agreement for NLG supplying with China in yuan.

The party is over, pedro.
