In the next 12 to 24 months there will be 6 banks left in the US. Once there is 6 controlled banks a new currency will be implemented. This will be a Central Bank Digital Currency. This new currency will be programmable. At any time if your credit or spending becomes problematic, your currency will stop working. If you buy too much meat, gas etc you will not beable to purchase any more. If your water or electric bill is not paid etc you will not be allowed to purchase entertainment items etc. Using cash is the only form of protest.

everyone circlejerking over cbdcs doesn't understand that for end users there will be no difference at all. they won't even realize anything has change.
cbdcs only kill of blockchains trying to deal with banks and settlement, like ripple, they don't have anything to do with decentralized assets like bitcoin.

2024 is way too early for that. They would need to start phasing out $100 and $50 bills first. They need to have cash use on a steady decline while implementing its replacement. Chronic Stagflation is the next step for the end of the USD on the domestic side of things, while rival trade blocs will put more pressure internationally as the Fed tries to walk a tight rope as to not cause hyperinflation. My bet is we have 1 more election cycle before CBDCs come fully online enough to start incentivizing the population to make the switch, certainly by 2030.

That is already happening, cash is not accepted everywhere. They don't need tp phase it out they just need to accept it in less and less places.
