Cheers, it's a one man op and tedious but they're coming along

Here's a 3D reference for Argento I commissioned, the chain over the cross and the size of the left side of the cross is still being revised. The presale for this one will end Monday morning when I wake up and change it over.
This webm is just a reference that was made to be given to the mint when they go to design the dies, this is not the exact final look of the coin

Let me know what you think of the center of the cross on the reverse, how do you envision those two shapes meeting up? I think the artist did a good transition in this design but there's always time to request something different by the time it goes to the engraver

pro tip for defending against metal detectors. Lay bare copper wire with nails punched into the grass at random areas, 2-4m long. Coils detect the whole length of wire as a target, causing them to go nuts. Burying large amounts of random garbage like tin cans or just simply shooting the region with lots of bullets will causing a detectorist to not want to check the area.

That's what numisfag think but it's BS.
Instead of polishing, put it in a hot pot with water, on top of aluminum foil shiny side up, and add a few spoons sodium bicarbonate/baking soda.
Rinse it off with running water after, dada! Shiny as new.

Rarely affects the price unless it's been graded. Some people enjoy the marks. But any circulation coin is never going to be in proof condition. Also you risk micro abrasion if you polish it. Just leave it be. If it's real gold too, it's not a tarnish it's just scratched/pitted. I mean do what you want lad it's your coin, if polishing it will make you happy go ahead. But you won't get a different price for polishing it. Well not from anyone who knows about coins. Each unto their own, i'd leave it be. I'd prefer to see the marks.

Just a reminder on how they crashed silver back in 2011 from 50 down to 32 overnight. People buy futures contracts on silver 5000oz for delivery next month. Most dont take delivery they cash out the contract and take the money. When buying futures you can buy on margin which is currently 9.5%. So roughly 9500 dollars to buy 100,000 dollars of silver. You have to upfront the 9500 so if the price goes down they collect that money. When the price went up on silver they upped the margin percent to like 25% which means you had to upfront like 15k of money per contract or ignore the margin call and the broker would close out your contract immediately. So what happened was tons of contracts got sold at the same time which cratered the price overnight. This concludes your jewish history lesson for this evening. And always remember... if you dont hold it you dont own it.

On the basis of >>>/pol/421533817 I put together some estimates of TrOz Ag per category of net worth if their entire net worth had to be backstopped by just silver - in terms of current wealth distributions rather than dividing global silver supply by exact numbers, because some people will have more and some less.
It's not perfect, and I had to make some guesses when I got to the top 1% distribution, and of course in reality there are other forms of wealth perservation and backstops like gold, land, paintings, etc, but it goes to show how far a few monster boxes would get you, for example.
Feedback welcome if you reckon I've mangled the calculations/numbers.

Odd yet not odd. UK fellow. But someone in the comments is in Canada.
UK was asked about what it's for and supposedly there wasn't enough in the bank to give? I mean, I guess there's only so much cash in a place at a given time.
Canadian fellow was asked about what it was for as though it was standard procedure but no seeming limit on cash at the location.
Me? I've never been asked about taking out more than the daily debit card limit and the last time I did so was little over a month ago.
Makes me wonder if it's just that certain procedures haven't hit my area (Ontario) yet or if there are bank workers who don't approve of this questioning.
I mean, if any country should be affected by US troubles it ought to be a next-door neighbor, no? We'll see what happens when I go to the bank today or tomorrow.

It's just taking the global wealth pareto distribution and stapling it onto the global silver supply, assuming that the two are commensurate. Why use that pareto distribution, just because it's tangentially related? It doesn't reflect the distribution of Ag holdings in reality and there's no particular reason to think it's even close. I assume the reason the person made it was to be able to compare stacks and see in which 'tier' they reside, but unfortunately it's no more based in fact than the tier lists that are more fun.

As far as I know they're more or less a Canadian PMX exclusive (so it says or once said on their site). Course one can always buy and resell. Sometimes exclusivity is also only for a limited time too. Could be that CPMX liked the design enough to help back it or something.
They have some bars themed after their store, along with a maple leaf marked set of bars that also bare their insignia to a lesser degree, so it seems they're in the business of funding designs.
Also, despite liking the design from all I saw online, somehow it wasn't the same in person. Really didn't expect that. Usually I like these things more when I see them in person.

Yanks are usually all bark and no bite. They talk about how they're more free than others, yet sit by and allow open voting fraud to occur despite the country having the world's most heavily armed civilian population.

They let people confiscate their gold. Then larp about shooting feds in the face or something, and they think we don't have guns too for some reason. I mean the boating accident isn't a bad strategy I guess. You can't seize it if it's lost/stolen/whatever.

You got caught in his weasel wording, since the use of guns specially for self-defence is banned, even though ownership of guns is not.

>specially for self-defence is banned
specifically for yes. but you can use it for that purpose. Should the need arise. You just can't own one for that stated purpose. But really doesn't matter, since you just say I want it for target practice/practical shotgun etc. Then when someone breaks in you shoot them in the face with your legally owned shotgun and you're fine. David Cameron changed the laws 13 years ago to allow it. But yeah as far as I know, only Northern Ireland allows guns for self defence. And I think you still have to prove there's some kind of threat. Anyway, I have several guns. Was planning on owning a .50cal too at some point. Find it amusing when Americans think we have no guns. Then again most of them couldn't locate our country (or any other in Europe) on a map.
